I hate how my sister feels insignificant simply because of the color of her skin and by the length/texture of her hair … When did this all get so bad? Both my mother and I are natural and we always try and teach my sister to embrace who she is and that she is truly beautiful . I hate seeing her think that she’s inferior to a white person … and what makes matters worst is that she is only 6 years old … I just imagine how she will think of herself when she is older especially in this world were you are always judge by your skin color and the texture of your hair
