Baz silently slipped out of his boyfriendβs
apartment building, and into the streets
of London. He had no classes that day,
which had taken him by surprise whenΒ
he found out. That meant he had nothing
to doΒ for a few hours, while Snow and Bunce
bonded. He had complained about that,
asking why he couldnβt accompany them
on their little adventure. Bunce had shooed
him out of the flat, leaving him alone in
the empty hallway.
He walked the streets of the city aimlessly,
not exactly sure what to do with himself.
His wand was tucked neat in his sleeve,
ready for use if an emergency arose. Or
perhaps if fucking numptiesΒ tried to kidnap
him again. He would never leave home
without it anymore.
The vampire considered going to the meeting
place his father had asked him to come to
earlier that week. Apparently he was having
some sort of meeting with another wealthy
family, a Normal family at that, and he was
asked to attend, He had declined the offer at
the time, but now it seemed more appealing
than wandering the streets like a stray dog.
He shook his head and walked into a cafe he
frequented instead, deciding that a sugary
coffee would be a better idea. Snow always
said his coffee tasted like a candy bar, but
Baz loved it.
Unfortunately, as he walked into the shop,
he ran into someone,a girl, who he had
to look down at. Coffee had spilled on
his shirt, which caused him to hiss in pain,
but it wouldnβt burn him alive. And he would
spell it clean with β Clean as a Whistle β
later. But first he had to deal with the girl
first.
β My apologies, β Β He started, trying to keep
his shirt off of his skin. β Would you allow me
to by you a new drink?Β β
