I see them both having this "boys don't cry" mentality that they would relate to, except Midas has it worse and is still trying to get through that mentality while James learns to let it go, and he helps Midas with it yay
Midas doesn't have any big ambitions, (still does have ambitions but not as determined as James; James is extremely ambitious.) but i think he would enjoy listening to James rambling about his :)
Have a trauma bond because of a certain someone, ehem, rafal.
I think they would both bond over really nice, cozy or luxury stuff, but I picture James to be more picky, while Midas doesn't care as much as long as he is comfortable.
Also aesthetic wise their colour palette look really cool together and I love to imagine Midas wearing green or gold and James brown to maroon-like
