😀🖼💃🐊 "The Girl and the Crocodile" - The drawing that started The Disneyland Project! 💃🐊🖼😀 . . Once upon a time there was this awesome friend named Renee Harper! @_sweetmidnight_ She won a storage auction and came across this old Etch A Sketch and mailed it to me from Arizona! Because she is a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion (a big understatement). I told her I would do a drawing from it and we concluded that it would be her favorite stretched painting! . . The wallpaper pattern is not the same as the stretched room, but I felt it was a much more fun and challenging choice. . . I used my "shadow effect" to create a great shading look to the picture as well as the wood tone of the frame. . . I decided that I should find more old Etch A Sketches on Ebay to finish this series! Not all of them worked, but I got it done in the end! . . My idea was to design each drawing so that half of the wallpaper halves would match up when pieced together. Home tour part 1: Kitchen. 🍒💠⏰🚰🐙💍 We might be moving in the near future, so I wanted to take a moment to show how much care and love has been put into the first home my husband and I have made together. From the vintage adverts we collect when we travel to the custom art we’ve had made, from the cookware we got as wedding gifts to the “mermaid” and “captain” mugs we got for ourselves on our first anniversary, our kitchen is a unique blend just like us. The crimson red and aquamarine play off each other warmly and playfully, and if that doesn’t sum up our combined aesthetic, I don’t know what does!
