Pirates - CANNONS
In which Sis is kidnapped and rescued and there is a fight.
ST: Sis has been mostly avoiding everyone since the incident in the bath two days prior. Or completely, as no one has seen hide nor hair of her. Star and Momo are, likely, panicking, but none of their searching seems to turn up anything. Skies had for once been allowed into his Sifu's home, and was in there for a full day. Suddenly as he left so did she, and she turned into a giant Great Roc and took flight, now gone for a full day herself, Skies explained it as her 'searching'.
ST: And there was suddenly the explosive sound of canon fire from the opposite side from dock, and a fire springing from that direction.
[OOC] ST: Sis is MIA, Skies, Star, and Momo were in the same area making a plan to try and find her. And we're under attack. Yaaay~
Star Seeker: "...think it's related?" Star asks as she nears Momo, heading for that side of the island.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is running at a speed only to keep up with Momo and Star, not outrun them. Rushing into cannon fire would be stupid, even with him wearing him armor.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo was already running, calm, composed, assured. She had tried to contact Silence, but that had turned up, unsurprisingly, a fat lot of nothing. It had better not be that asshole again, because of it was she had WORDS. "No bet."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker debates launching recon, but no. Running and far-seeing might be tricky, and whatever it was, she was probably needed there ASAP.
ST: They arrive a few minutes later, the fire seemed to have stopped spreading and the entire area was covered in water there. A bit out to sea there lay a ship it's cannons firing again. This one misses them, but hits a tree nearby and starts another blaze. Four figures hop off the boat and into the water, and are approaching fast.
ST: Skies strikes a fighting position, baring his teeth, "If it's related I'll kill them all myself."
Star Seeker: "...why are they shooting at trees?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "They're not, they just suck at adjusting for windage."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker readies her weapon. "Want me to pick 'em off from here?"
ST: As if to answer that, another shot is fired out of another canon, and this one hits very close to them. Still not close enough to hit them though,
ST: "Go ahead, but I'm not sure I like the idea of them being such good swimmers." They are having no problem swimming, even in the open ocean current.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker aiiims, looking for a firedust magazine. "Either of you got a torch or something, to hold a flame?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Not I."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The enemies are getting damn close Star, just shoot one of the swimmers.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker hurls at one of the swimmers, if they'll likely be here before that trick could be pulled off.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo breaks off something, pulls something else out, and hands Star a lit torch. IMPROVISED THINGS.
[OOC] ST: They will. They are moving unnervingly and obviously supernaturally quickly in the water
Star Seeker: "Put that in the ground - swimmers are too close. But once they're dealt with..."
[OOC] Star Seeker: Dex+Thr+Acc: 12d10: 10 8 6 3 7 10 6 9 10 2 2 7 [Successes: 10]
Dukokinoko Momo: "Fine." Thunk.
ST: One of the swimmers jumps to try and dodge the staff, only to have it hit him within the gut, the spear part of the javelin stabbing into it.
[OOC] ST: Roll damage, it has 3 Lethal soak
[OOC] Star Seeker: 7d10: 4 5 7 2 5 2 5 [Successes: 1]
ST: The stab hurts it, obviously, but... it doesn't seem to be deterred and keeps on swimming to them with the others. It seems they have no ranged attacks of their own, but their fingers are replaced with long bony black metallic claws it seems, and look razor sharp.
[OOC] ST: They are about 30 yards out now. Going into Join Battle stuff, go go go
Star Seeker: "Oh great. Beastmen."
[OOC] Star Seeker: 5d10: 1 4 6 1 1 [BOTCH!]
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: [5D10X7 => [ 3; 5; 6; 4; 1; => 0 success[es] against 7 ] = 0 | ones: 1] >_<
Star Seeker: Star Seeker was too focused on guiding the javelin, and takes a beat to transition to hand-to-hand fighting. With her body.
Dukokinoko Momo: "I don't think so. Those aren't natural claws, it seems more like they were forged- whoa that's fast!"
[OOC] ST: 6d10 → [2,7,1,10,3,7] = [30
ST: 6d10 → [1,6,3,1,4,10] = [25]
ST: 6d10 → [5,5,7,9,2,1] = [29]
ST: for the creatures
ST: 8d10 → [8,2,9,10,7,7,2,6] = [51]
ST: For Skies. Skies acts first. One of the creatures has turned to swim the other way and is trying to escape from battle instead of joining them.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies suddenly dives into the water, his legs shifting to be something akin to a mermaid's tail in midair, as he swims out quickly to get at one. The other two swim past, and are approaching quickly, getting out onto land it's obvious that those claws are fake, and metallic.
[OOC] Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies rolled 14 successes on accuracy and 8 on damage. I'm taking him out of the battle however so -
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies drives into the water with his quarry's throat held between his teeth.
ST: The one that moves for Momo moves sluggish and dazedly, swiping out with one claw only to miss without her even moving [BOTCH]
ST: The one headed for Star though, is quicker. Much quicker, and tries to stab at her stomach. It's the one she hit earlier. [8d10 → [9,4,9,4,10,6,8,10 ] 7 successes]
[OOC] Star Seeker: DDV 4, PDV 6
Star Seeker: Star Seeker parries most of it...
[OOC] Star Seeker: Soak is 3B2L1A at the moment
ST: The claws hit... hard, sapping at her energy as it stabs into her side. She'd mostly parried the attack so it missed her stomach, but it still hit.
[OOC] ST: Yeah, I know her Soak - anyways three successes, three Lethal Health Levels and a mote drained
[OOC] ST: Star and Momo, you guys are up on the same ticks. Kill these fuckers ;D
Star Seeker: Star Seeker FLASHES, shine-sparking to and fro and hither and yon...
[OOC] Star Seeker: Activating Crystal Chameleon Form. With those dice, it'll be a lot harder for them to score a hit now. -2 penalty to attacks to her; equivalently, +2 to her DVs
[OOC] ST: These guys aren't supposed to kill her sooo :P
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo casually grabs the claw at the wrist, pulling the opponent out of guard, out of position, and out of hope. Really now. With such an anemic attack, what did he expect would happen!?
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo moves in a blur, the distinct sound of cracking bones and teeth echoing across the now eerily silent island. She slips inside to land what look and sound like punches with the speed of a thunderbolt.
[OOC] ST: I'll give you two stunt die, Fabri. Roll accuracy etc etc~
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: three strike flurry:
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 8D10X7 ``=`: 4; 7; 6; 7; 4; 2; 10x2; 7; => 5 success[es] against 7 ] = 5
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 9D10X7 ``=`: 2; 10x2; 6; 2; 10x2; 10x2; 10x2; 10x2; 10x2; => 12 success[es] against 7 ] = 12
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 10D10X7 ``=`: 2; 4; 8; 3; 1; 5; 10x2; 8; 7; 7; => 6 success[es] against 7 ] = 6 | ones: 1
Dukokinoko Momo: So 6, 12, 5.]
[OOC] ST: With the onslaught penalty they have Four Dodge and Five Parry DV. Good job.
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: And my guy botched, which should have more impact than just him missing, so :D Also what is his soak
[OOC] ST: Seven Bashing Soak
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: [3D10S7 ``=`> [ 9; 5; 10 => 2 success[es] against 7 ] = 2
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 4D10S7 ``=`: 7; 5; 6; 9 => 2 success[es] against 7 ] = 2
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 3D10X7 ``=`: 9; 10; 8; => 4 success[es] against 7 ] = 4 actually equals 3 because that's not the right code.]
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: So seven.
[OOC] ST: And there goes all the healthlevels down to the Incap. Feel free to stunt the description of how it falls
Dukokinoko Momo: CRACK CRACK CRACK the sound of thunder hits it and it seems to hang in the air for a sickening moment, before Momo catches it with her foot and SLAMS it into the dock. She looks to the boat with all the Not Happy she can muster.
ST: Something can be seen out in the distance there. A flared Anima, Solar. Twilight specifically from the looks of the color. And it's got a horrible grin on its face.
[OOC] ST: What are your guy's Dodge DVs?
[OOC] Star Seeker: DDV 4 PDV 6 DMDV 5 PMDV 3
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: Also 5. 6 against ranged because she has LTT up
[OOC] Star Seeker: +2 effective DVs/-2 to incoming attacks for Star
[OOC] ST: Well... crap. Now we know why we are having our downtime. Which one of you is wil- AHA. Good
ST: The form cracks something in his hand... and suddenly a lightning bolt snaps from it. Sorcery! It aims for Momo, very nearly hits her, the superheated air of the lightning nearly burning her. [Stunt her dodge however you want]
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo pauses, kicks up the soulsteel claws off the unconscious fool's form, and bumps them up into the air right in front of her while she dodges out of the way, since, you know, sorcery takes a while.
Dukokinoko Momo: Intimately familiar with the properties of the item if not, perhaps, its exact function, Momo is well aware that soulsteel has an alarming tendency to absorb just about anyhting that gets thrown at it, making it the path of least resistance for whatever bad mojo is heading her way.
[OOC] ST: HEY GUYS, IT'S SIS' SOLAR AND HE'S A TWILIGHT CASTE, HE'S GONNA BE THROWING SPELLS :D
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is up first! He's back up and seems to be a Seadragon, distracting the ship by biting down on one end of it.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Star's little enemy tries to claw at her again, but over extends itself and collapses forwards onto the ground [Botch. Damn these guys suck]
[OOC] ST: Star, kill it or something. Or have Momo help you kill it. It's your guy's turn.
Star Seeker: "...Momo. You get these guys. That ship just became a higher priority!"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker scoops up that torch with her javelin and HURLS.
[OOC] Star Seeker: Misc. action + Dash. It'll be next action when the attack lands. Per that Seeking Stone.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: There's a commotion inside, and abruptly a blue-and-black-banded snake slithers out of the ship, hitting the water and diving under.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Tch, fine, I'll catch up in the Chaser." She turns to the opponent and is already next to him, her heel barely turning in the stop as she burns just the faintest amount of Essence to keep her striking power precisely even- gold sparks flick across her knuckles as she turns aside his weak attack, instead pressing forward. Shoulder strike. Step. Gut strike.
Dukokinoko Momo: And that left his jaw in juuuuust the right position for a straight upper that chattered his teeth and sent him flying.
[OOC] ST: One stunt dice. Your Speed spec works too. Forgot about them for the last roll
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: I did not. 3m personal spent to counter flurry penalty:
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 9D10X7 ``=`: 4; 10x2; 5; 3; 9; 10x2; 10x2; 7; 6; => 8 success[es] against 7 ] = 8
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 9D10X7 ``=`: 10x2; 5; 8; 6; 1; 1; 5; 7; 9; => 5 success[es] against 7 ] = 5 | ones: 2
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 9D10X7 ``=`: 1; 10x2; 4; 10x2; 4; 1; 10x2; 5; 7; => 7 success[es] against 7 ] = 7 | ones: 2
[OOC] ST: This one has two parry DV as its highest DV with the botch + onslaught. 7 Bashing Soak as the last one.
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo:
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 5D10E7 ``=`: 6; 9; 3; 4; 7; => 2 success[es] against 7 ] = 2
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 3D10E7 ``=`: 3; 9; 3; => 1 success[es] against 7 ] = 1
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo> 4D10E7 ``=`: 8; 3; 1; 3; => 1 success[es] against 7 ] = 1 | ones: 1
Dukokinoko Momo: So... 4. -_-]
[OOC] ST: Roll a Dex + Dodge check real quick~ difficulty is two Both Star and Momo, if Star is still near the guy
[OOC] Star Seeker: 4d10: 5 7 10 4 [Successes: 3] - with wound penalty
Star Seeker: Star Seeker is still on the shore, but is concentrating on guiding her Wrackvajra.
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: 6D10X7 ``=`> [ 9; 9; 8; 6; 7; 7; => 5 success[es] against 7 ] = 5
ST: As he's hit those multiple times the 'person' suddenly lets out a screeching cry of fear... and then his claws, then arms, and then entire torso explode into a million bits, bones flying out. Both Star and Momo are left fine however, due to their quick movements.
Star Seeker: "And this is the type of Solar that Silence was worried about."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The Sea Dragon suddenly lashes out and its tail smashes against the side of the boat, exposing the cannon emplacements within, before it dives down into the water.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The Twilight seems to be doing taking a Shape Sorcery action now.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Now I want to kill him MORE THAN EVER." She heads over to her ship, collecting the soulsteel claws of the other one and sets sail with the help of the automated engine, the golden-weaved cloth shining and sparkling even as her anima starts. The sunburst weave is... peculiar, familiar, but not the symbol of the deliberative. Rather, something much older even than that.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: The sea krait has found a hole to hide in and doesn't look like it's coming out any time before it needs a breath.
[OOC] ST: Opposite end of the island from the dock
Star Seeker: Star Seeker just smiles at how easy this is. Drop, down it goes, charge in...
Star Seeker: Star Seeker shields her eyes just before the entire magazine goes up at once.
Star Seeker: "See anyone else, Momo?"
ST: The ship reacts to meeting the torch like a car does when part of a Michael Bay film. It explodes far more violently than it probably should, the Twilight can be seen flying quite a bit in the air before landing in the water and slowly sinking downwards... downwards. Skies doesn't eat it though. He doesn't eat trash.
ST: Star and Momo get a nice sight atleast.
Dukokinoko Momo: Hmph, Momo's going in the water to make sure of him. There's too much chance that that rat bastard will come back if she just leaves the body to sink.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker whistles and waves to Skies. "Take Momo to make sure the body's dead?" Star recalls her javelin.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker then sits down and concentrates on her clothing, willing bandages to seal over the wound, because OW DANG that really hurt!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is deep underwater at the moment, looking for Sis. It can't hear Star.
[OOC] Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Momo, roll either Stamina + Resistance or Stamina + Athletics, or anything else you think would demonstrate swimming threehundredish yards
Star Seeker: Star Seeker sees lack of Skies. After a bit, tosses the Wrackvajra again, this time to seek the body and return with it - or a vital enough piece to confirm the kill.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis-the-sea-krait is currently cowering in a little hole. Skies can probably spot her tail though.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is far too large to get near the hole though. It can just sit there and watch and wait. And slam its armored head into the rocks.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Which... drives her further in to cower more. Nope. Nopenopenopenope.
Dukokinoko Momo: Hmph! What kind of sailor doesn't know how to act in breakwater? She walks down and through, down and through, letting the current do most of the work, not panicking- never panicking. When she thinks she's reached the spot, she only then starts her dive to recover that body. Her caste mark flares more, using it as a primitive sort of flashlight.
[OOC] Star Seeker: Per+Awa from Star & Momo to find the body?
[OOC] ST: Sure. Roll it
[OOC] Star Seeker: 5d10: 7 3 5 10 8 [Successes: 4]
[OOC] ST: Add some stunt dice. I still want a roll. That's two football fields of swimming in the open ocean she's doing, and if she's letting it carry her then that's even slower, and the body will just be very far down
ST: The Seadragon stops and turns into a dolphin to make soft noises in the water to her. Before quickly turning into a gilled fish.
ST: Star's staff finds the body and stabs into its shoulder... and the entirety of an arm rips off to stick to it, the force of the javelin forcing the rest of the body down faster. The arm, if she returns the Wrack to her without the hearthstone, is burnt nearly to a crisp and it's obvious why it would fall off by how even the bones are charred to the point of joints being like ash.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker stabs again, going for the head or torso. Star Seeker knows people can live without an arm.
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: 13D10X7 ``=`> [ 4; 9; 7; 9; 4; 5; 5; 7; 1; 1; 4; 2; 7; => 5 success[es] against 7 ] = 5 | ones: 2. 5m personal spent.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Snake slowly sticks its head out, then back in. Nope. Does not want to come out.
[OOC] Star Seeker: She is, in essence, remote spear fishing.
[OOC] ST: So... how is she 'stabbing' for it? Ahh.
ST: The body seems to be hidden for a good bit, before Momo makes it out there, her anima and shininess acting to show everything. The body can just barely be seen in a crook in the rocks.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The fish 'sucks' on the snake's tail lightly. Come on, Sis...
Star Seeker: Star Seeker sees the incoming flashlight. Just points: a human body can manipulate that more readily than an Essence-animated javelin can. Star Seeker recalls her Wrackvajra once Momo sees the body. Star doesn't have unlimited motes here.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Nope nope nope tail is pulled in.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo slowly lifts it out of the rocks, pushing off as hard as she can, heading for the surface. She may have more motes than Star, but... Now comes the hard part, fighting the current until the break. Damn bloated bastard. You're not going to get away from her that easily!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: As he is ignored again, the fish swims like a dart upwards, quickly shifting into a Sea Dragon. It probably hurts Momo a lot as her ass connects with his head to get to the surface faster.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker makes with the passing out, or at least powernapping, once her javelin is back and that icky burnt arm is off of it.
Dukokinoko Momo: She takes a breath and looks at Skies. "Is she in there?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Eh? That was... what? That's just enough to make her curious and slooooowly follow, surfacing and swimming along beside him.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I made sure I got her out first. She's just hiding. She'll come out hopefully. Is that the bastard?" It's swimming very quickly, about a hundred and forty yards per second. Which means within two seconds they reach the beach. Luckily his helmet acts as a mini-boat for human sized people when he is in this form, so Momo didn't fall out.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Yeah. Wanted to make sure he didn't escape this time. Besides. He's an Exalt. There's always a use."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The body is as burnt as his arm was. But around his neck, on his feet, and in one of his eyesockets are obviously Orichalcum items. What they do is anyone's guess.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis follows much slower, slowly slithering up the beach and gathering herself up on top of Star. That's one of the more poisonous snakes in the world.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He lets Momo off his head before he shifts, so she doesn't fall the ten or so feet, then becomes human.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker is unresponsive. That's either Sis or Skies atop her, or the others would see and be yelling by now.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis isn't going near either of them until the Solar's gone.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo drags him up and looks at Sis. Her caste mark is shining, and she looks away. No. No no no. She rips the bastard's implants out, tossing them aside, then unceremoniously crushes the bastard's face in with her heel.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies walks over towards Stars and Sis without Momo, leaning over Star to look at her wound.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis shifts into her ermine form and climbs up Skies, hiding under his hair and whining.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker has self-bandaged it a bit messily. Looks like someone doesn't have medical training.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Neither does Skies! Perfect! He just... looks at it, "Momo, can you come bandage her?" He doesn't even care about the body in the least, reaching up to put a hand near Sis.
Dukokinoko Momo: "..." She just stares at the bastard's remains. "What could have possessed you... What were you THINKING!?" She's just blowing up at the dead body, but the request brings her back to reality.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Right." She hesitantly walks over to Star, not looking Sis in the eye, tending to Star's wounds and bandaging them properly while the others talk.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis nuzzles his hand and then there is a Momo without the scary trauma-inducing thing and Sis jumps over to her, sliding down her shirt to curl up against her stomach.
Dukokinoko Momo: It's cold and soaked in there. Like, really cold and soaked, like she'd just taken a bath in seawater o rite. Still...
Lady of the Pale Gaze: She doesn't care.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker opens an eye, breathing shallowly. "I guess...no makeouts...for a while. You'll just have...to make do...with Sis and Skies."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Aren't... Aren't you scared of me because of that...?" Momo asks Sis, hesitantly, even as she tends to it. "Yeah, no sloppy makeouts for you. You'd better take this seriously or it will take weeks to heal... Other than that, you'll live. Besides. It's not mortal. Not even in conjunction with this other one."
Star Seeker: "Yeah, yeah. Sis's safe. 'At's what counts." Star Seeker is still not moving.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: There is much nuzzling and curling up with as much touching her as possible.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo nods. "Yeah."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: And suddenly Skies is without traumatized Sis... and he goes over to the body and suddenly his arm turns into a very very large tentacle with drops itself onto the body at full strength, growing larger to make 'full strength' stronger, crushing it into little bits.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hey! I was gonna use that. Prime crafter bones! A bit morbid, to be sure, but..."
Star Seeker: "Let 'im. It's the blood that's the real power...an', sorry, think I incinerated most of that."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hm, the bones have less of his personality in them, though..."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Dooking. Okay yeah it's fucking wet and cold, Sis crawls out and drapes herself around Momo's neck, shivering against her.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: His combined fifteen athletics plus strength means that that's no longer very viable. It's completely crushed and turned nearly to dust in one hit, and he just suddenly has another which he hits it with again.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Nope, Momo.
Star Seeker: "You get any ori he had?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Awwww... But it might have been a fate worse than death!" Momo pouts. "Yeah. Hopefully soon I'll have something of use out of it, instead of what it is. Whatever it is."
Star Seeker: "Hhheh." Star smirks. "You want that, soulsteel's the way to go."
Dukokinoko Momo: "..." She seems to consider it, but... "No. Not worth it."
Star Seeker: "Didn't think so." Eye closes again.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Momo has an ermine collar. That is still shivering and whining.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies finally stops his tantrum and moves off to the side to press his head to his armored knees.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo's starting to feel the bite of the cold herself. She takes off her clothes and wrings them out, trying to help Sis dry off, now now now. SO MUCH TRIAGE
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Oh fiiiiiine. Sis shifts back to human form - eeer, that isn't supposed to be smooth normally - for the sake of warming up faster.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Brother get over here!" Hugs. Hugs are needed.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies slowly moves over. He's all wet himself, but seems unbothered. He hugs Sis instantly. Ohgodhefeelslikesuchafailure.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Clinging. Clinging to both of them now. And then the bawling starts.
[OOC] Lady of the Pale Gaze: note: sis is in a perfectly neuter form right now.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo hugs them both. "I... I'm sorry, Sis. I couldn't follow through..." Sniiiff. Sniff.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker semi-grumpily gets up. Yeaaah, hugs more important than rest right now. Walks over and GROUP HUGS!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Ugh. cod damn it Skies you can't start crying or Sis will never calm down... Just hold it in. He's crying, but not making any noise to indicate it, his helmet and hair mostly obscuring them from seeing the tears, as he hugs Sis. Luckily his armor changes so easily, and seems to avoid pinching at any of them.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis just bawls, sobbing too hard to form anything coherent and pressing as close to them as she can.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo rubs at her back, gently. Pap shooooooooosh pap pap.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker just lean-hugs, not quite resting but tapping into the training of a sleepy little ninja. Her presence helps, but Momo and Skies can do the fine details.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies doesn't know what to do. Last time she was taken it took months to break her out of it, and now she had someone else to comfort her instead.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He'd be bitter about her choosing Momo over him in any other situation... but not this one.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Slowly the initial bawling stops and she just cries, leaning heavily against Skies while clinging to Momo and Star.
Star Seeker: "So... Your sifu's coming back, right?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Jenet was never here."
Star Seeker: "I meant hers, and Skies'. The lady named Silence."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Probably. She said she felt something evil off in the other direction, and she'd be back when she was done with it..." DUNDUNDUN.
Star Seeker: "The opposite direction, at the same time. Coincidence? And what was that fool thinking, coming back here?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "We may not have time to rest, then... Even if we need to..." She shoots a look at the injured Star and nuzzles the clearly broken up Sis.
Star Seeker: "...are you thinking we should get out of here?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Rather traumatized, it seems. "I-i-it was him. And, and he took the..." Sis gestures at her front, where the bustier should be. Yeah, it's missing…
Dukokinoko Momo: "... He didn't...!" Might be gripping a bit hard there, Momo.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis doesn't mind, clinging back just as tightly and... welp, there goes the bawling again. Good job Momo! Now you know why Sis is neuter right now.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He blinks a few times, "Momo, check her stomach, see if you can hear anything. Now." He moves to pull Sis off for now, hugging her close.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis reluctantly shifts back to her female form.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Damn it, blowing up in a firedust accident was too good for him..." She said, examining.
Star Seeker: "What 'accident'?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Heh. There's that, too." She quietly listens, making select inspections of pressure points...
Lady of the Pale Gaze: It... seems to be fine! Maybe rather unhappy, but fine.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: The fetus, that is.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis herself... not so much.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... There’s a supply of maiden tea in the Chaser. Sis, it's your decision..."
Dukokinoko Momo: The disgust in her voice makes it clear that she really wishes there was a body around to do experiments with now.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Blink. Blink. "N-no, that, that's Skies..." Sis leans against Skies harder and looks relieved.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Oh. Oh. Okay. I thought he'd..." Last to know. AGAIN.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies smiles very very very weakly at that, holding onto Sis, "I'm glad."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Well only because she didn't pick up the context clues.
Star Seeker: "...huh. I thought it was Momo's somehow."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis hugs her. "S-sorry, I thought you had gotten it from context..."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Mm. I thought it was the other way." Huuuug. She's smiling. "The worst of the bastard, as it were."
Star Seeker: "Whaaat? No, I have never yet done anything which could possibly impregnate Sis, I swear!"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "You thought I'd- Skies- pfffffffffffffffft-" Laughing. Hysterically.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker smirks. Mission accomplished.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Oooooookay, we're getting both of you to shelter now."
Star Seeker: "Lead the way." Star Seeker holds back, letting Sis cling to Momo primarily.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Nod. "Yes, please do." Still giggling. Mostly clinging to Momo now, though one arm is thrown over Skies' shoulders too.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo still supports Star as they head back to somewhere warmer and she tries to keep Sis from getting more hysterical. Shock is bad, mmmkay?
Star Seeker: Star Seeker tugs on Skies' other arm.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is happy to support Star while Momo supports Sis, but does his best to support both. He's still larger than normal from before, as they move off.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker whispers to Skies, "What got taken?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He looks down to Star, "Huh?"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker gestures to her chest, then to Sis's.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis is still naked, yep. And decides to lean on Momo instead for the moment.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Her variable clothing thingy, looks like. I'll want to find it once you two are BEDDED DOWN. And RESTING."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Vyctorea's Little Secret. Yeah. Ehehe."
Dukokinoko Momo: Crabby momo!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'll find it after she's asleep. I'm the only one here who can breathe under water, I think."
Star Seeker: "...oh." Star blinkblinks. "...you could borrow my amulet for a little while if you want, though it might not work as well for you."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "I have clothes~ Hehe~" Yeah, mostly Momo's underthings, but she did keep some clothes separate for just such a fuckup.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies smiles down to Star and then to Sis... and then finally to Momo. Just a small weak one. THEY ARRIVE AT THE HOUSE.

Pirates - The Race
A race and hotspring shenanigans!
Dukokinoko Momo: ... It is later. Momo is busy with some arcane bit of mirror-work, molding the glass with her hands, shaping the silver by rolling it into a ball in her hands and gently flattening it out. The surface is ever-so-slightly parabolic.
Dukokinoko Momo: The sand glows and melts under her touch as she smooths it as a potter with her wheel.
Dukokinoko Momo: Her Caste Mark is obvious, but she's facing towards the shore, so...
Star Seeker: ...she sees Star flash-running back up from the ship. That's...rather fast. In less than a minute, Star has reached Momo and is handing over a small chest with tools. "Here you go."
Dukokinoko Momo: "None of its glass-blowing equipment..." She's still molding it with her hands, a faint golden light protecting them as the sand starts to gently lens into clear glass. "I've needed to do this for a while."
Dukokinoko Momo: She doesn't pause in her work, but she does in her speech. "How long have you been a Blinding Prism, Star?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Or... At least, none of my tools were."
Star Seeker: "Aheh...yeaaah, I maaay have brought up the portable forge? But if you don't need it, you don't need it. What's a Blinding Prism?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "... I saw the Flashing Passage. The technique is distinctive." She flips the large glass bit in one hand and smooths out the sand that is stuck to it, leaving a single, flawless mirror, with a radius of about a foot and a half, parabolic; then turns it over again and starts applying the silver to it while it's still hot. it spreads out thin thin thin...
Star Seeker: "Hmm? Oh, you mean the flash-stepping? Err! Y-yeah, it is called Flashing Passage and I'm not supposed to dishonor it with my own names."
Star Seeker: "Crystal Chameleon Style."
Star Seeker: "I've studied it since my formal training began. I chose it as my first martial art style since it was practical, and recommended for a Journeys."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hm." She nods, and gently maneuvers the mirror into a housing made from obsidian. "Yes. You've seen me use it already; I considered its speed an asset to my small frame and limited reach. If there were a way to mix it properly with the Eightfold Path mortal art, I'd enjoy learning how, I think..."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker cocks her head. "I'd have to study that one to know if there is. Or check the libraries. But it mixes with my own power."
Dukokinoko Momo: "You've seen me use that, as well; more accurately, a mixture of Eightfold Path and Southeastern Fire. I... Used to pick up mortal unarmed fighting as a hobby."
Star Seeker: "Huh. Maybe you can teach me some day?"
Star Seeker: "But anyway. I'll check the archives if you want."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Maybe. I suspect there's some secrets hiding in those forms, as well, but I can't be certain how much is just my own power, and how much is from the forms." She starts on the next mirror, just as carefully, pulling out tools from nowhere.
Star Seeker: "So hey, I hear that requires black sand with normal sand to make clear glass? But I don't see any black sand - are you pulling the color out with your anima?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Sort of. There's a trick to it, as with all things... More accurately, I'm adding black sand's igneous chemistry in with my hands..."
Star Seeker: "Uh huh! So you just need their spirits. Maybe I'll try that with some dyes."
Star Seeker: "Anyway, want me to check the archives for that martial art mixture?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hm. There are so many, that it's hard to say what is and isn't there. Don't trouble yourself. More importantly, if there were a way to counteract my short reach without weaponry, it would be better."
Dukokinoko Momo: She is already heating and turning the next glass to be made into a mirror in her hands. "Thank you for the forge, incidentally, it gave me an idea as to how I could refine moonsilver..."
Star Seeker: "Oh! You want to know how to refine moonsilver? I don't...quite understand it myself? But I can get the documents on how to do it."
Dukokinoko Momo: She shakes her head. "Most of those rely on the wyld, and I'm not so clever as that. But... I know solar focusing mirrors are watched for by the Hunt. So that made me think for a moment about if it could be done using Luna's throne instead of Sol's..."
Star Seeker: "Eh? You want to focus moonlight on silver to make moonsilver?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "It should be possible..."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker headtilts. Ponders, ponders. "...maybe try quicksilver too? I mean, isn't Wyld the point of moonsilver so by going with non-Wyld forging techniques you miiight not have enough energy so starting with something that has more of it would be more likely to work?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Well, then you'd need to beat the Wyld out of it. That's a little different than infusing it with Luna."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker winces. "You make it sound like soulsteel."
Star Seeker: "But, yeah - though if you just need to remove the Wyld, you wouldn't even need mirrors like that, would you?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "True, but I would need cold iron. I have the ingredients for a mirror."
Star Seeker: "Or maybe an orichalcum hammer to impose some order?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "No gold, and touching that sacrificial knife gives me the willies."
Star Seeker: "I could take a crack at reforging it into a hammer if you want. That should break any connection to what it was."
Star Seeker: "So...Blinding Prism. Is that what your people called it?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "I could probably manage it, myself, but it's broken... I don't know how that's going to affect the eventual product..." The pane starts to slowly widen. "That's what my sifu called herself in reference to the style."
Star Seeker: "It's broken in its current form. I'd make it into something else, where it's not broken. Realign its...well, it doesn't really have chakras, but you know what I mean. I wonder how widely taught the style is."
Star Seeker: "So, now that you're all the way over here, are you going to continue studying it? I mean, without your sifu?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Possible... To both questions. I'm starting to synthesize the central form, but beyond that it's difficult to say, yet. I was not told where this particular path would lead. Do you know?"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker clasps her hands as if in prayer. "Nyu!" There is a bit of a shimmer...
Star Seeker: Was that a purple, translucent spider that just ran down her arm? Whatever, it vanished after it leapt off...
Star Seeker: ...seconds later, it reappears, diving into Star's hair. "A student has mastered Crystal Chameleon Style when the student can step beyond light."
Jen Michael: There is also a small letter!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker plucks the letter from her hair. "...and...mail. Probably for Skies." Star Seeker glances over it.
Jen Michael: Nope, it's for Star.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Ah. A pet. And secretary. How useful... Stepping beyond light, huh." A pause as she considers that, both in her work and in her speech. "Considering what the central form is supposed to do... It should probably make the entire world shine. But leave you concealed. Like some kind of sparkly ninja."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker giggles! "Yeah, but I'm not supposed to SAY it's sparklenin-" Star Seeker cringes, looking around. Star Seeker: Star Seeker then reads the letter.
Jen Michael: "My dearest student who I love dearly``~``
Jen Michael: We are both going to be in quite a bit of trouble if you can't keep your mouth shut about Sidereal business. Already covering our asses.
Jen Michael: ``~``Love, your Mentor
Jen Michael: PS: Don't you even dare. "
Star Seeker: "..." Star Seeker wideeyes.
Jen Michael: "PPS: Tell Skies I love him."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker rips that part of the letter off, pocketing it to hand to Skies later.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... You called it sparkleninja style at some point?" Pffffft.
Star Seeker: "...y-yeeeah...umm. Hey, listen. About that stuff I told you about Sol and all that that's going on in Yu-Shan? Can you make me a promise that you won't ever tell anyone else who doesn't already know? Please?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "I know that is highly privileged information in any case." Shrug. "The fact that I know why the Most High is distant does not change the fact that he is distant, and this is all that truly matters. Yes?"
Star Seeker: "...umm...yeah, even the fact that he IS distant, they consider to be kinda...even if people CAN observe it, but they'd only be guessing..."
Star Seeker: "I'd really really rather they don't think they have reason to tear that from your brain and leave a bleeding wound. Metaphorically and literally. To say nothing of what they'd do to me."
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Hm. As far as anyone is concerned, already forgotten. I will mention it as suspicion only."
Star Seeker: "Phew. Thanks. And no, it's not privileged - well, not just that. It's worse. It's EMBARASSING. And whatever you think of Sol, the ones who act on it are the bureaucrats of the Celestial Bureaucracy. So, saying such things about the boss's boss's boss's...well, have you ever worked with mortal bureaucrats, who think you did Something Bad?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "I am a mortal bureaucrat."
Star Seeker: "The Celestial Bureaucracy is mostly gods. I'm...pretty sure that's all safe to say?" Star looks up. "...I've never seen you stamp or sign a single form, in weeks. Anyway. You can guess how they might react, if this became an issue."
Dukokinoko Momo: "I was a sochei. Paymaster." But she nods. "Hm. There are many different reactions to badmouthing one's boss, even if they are correct."
Star Seeker: "And this boss is the Unconquered Sun. He's...not disliked. To put it mildly."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Just so."
Star Seeker: "I'll ask Sis too. I don't think I've told Skies that much. So, anyway. Umm. Maybe we can train that form together later? I've been practicing by running with it. Maybe a race? I'll use my, ah, extra power for both of us, so you'll be running faster too. Just don't get too far from me."
Dukokinoko Momo: "I've learned that charm as well, but the form is a slightly different matter again." And back the mirror with silver. And leave both to carefully cool.
Star Seeker: "Yeah. I'm trying to see if there's a way to internalize the form by practicing its components."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hm. This will have to wait while the glass cools..."
Star Seeker: "So...you want to do that race, or shall I go tell Sis before she blabs? I think she went off to the spring."
Dukokinoko Momo: She stands up and stretches. "I haven't room on the racks, and I want to make sure my technique is up to snuff before I continue. Two dinars a mirror, not bad!" She shrugs. "Do both? Not like I've got anything but time and the mirrors need to cool.
Star Seeker: "Alright! We can run over to the spring." Star skips to a convenient starting point. "When you're ready."
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo walks carefully to the starting line; she's probably not that much faster or slower than Star is. "Right``~``"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker makes some motions - Momo can recognize Light-Treading Technique. Drawing the sign of Mercury in midair is new, though. ...and then things feel faster. "On one."
Dukokinoko Momo: She makes the basic motion for the light-treading technique, and nods.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker nods back. "One." And runs - careful to keep pace with Momo. Both of them are moving at triple speed, on top of the speed boosts from Light-Treading Technique combined with Flashing Passage after Flashing Passage.
[OOC] Star Seeker: So...+5 yards, then 4, then 3, or [Dex+11]*12 yards per action.
[OOC] Dukokinoko Momo: 15*12``=``180 per three seconds?
Star Seeker: Star Seeker eventually slows down - those Flashing Passages are draining - but still.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo burns through three of them, but otherwise works to keep pace with Star, cutting across the other's path with a dashing punch. If they're going to play at being sparkleninjas, let's do it right``~``
Star Seeker: "So, is this fast enough for you?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Heh heh. No sparring to go with it?" She says, picking up the pace again.
Star Seeker: "Saving some reserves in case Silence turns on us for real." Star Seeker knows full well that Lunar has probably heard her.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Hm, maybe. More importantly I don't think she'd do that until I openly display my perfidy. ... Perhaps you'd better go in alone. Don't want to be seen as a pervert, too." Even if she totally is.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze swats Skies with a wet towel.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker innocently [yeah right] tries to slip a hand over Momo's wrist as she walks in.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies turns and glares at Pale, "What was that for?" Sourpuss mood!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Nothing``~``" Her? voice sounds deeper than usual!
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo gets surprisingly dragged in! Oh no?
Star Seeker: "Hey Sii-iis``~``. You in here?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies of course has a female voice at this moment, as previously established, "Of course not. It nev- GO AWAY." She shouts.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker peeks in where the voices are coming from. Star Seeker drags Momo into peeping position too, as best she can.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Yes!" Suddenly a male, naked Sis is leaning out. "What did you want?" Still kinda heavy too.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Naked Skies. Naked Sis. Naked Skies moves to hide in the water.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker blinks. "...oh, right. Lunars. Shapeshifting. Umm."
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo's blushing. They're both really cute the other way around.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze looks completely and utterly comfortable with the oogling. "Was there something?" Oh gods Pale don't get out of the water-
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Naked Skies only has his eyes above water, and he will pull Gaze in if she tries to move.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Yep he's getting out!
Dukokinoko Momo: And now comes a strange feeling. Anyone who has felt it before would know it as the exasperating sensation of wanting another's babies. Momo... Just bites her lip.
Star Seeker: "...err...ah...I kinda got reminded that I told you some stuff that maaaybe I shouldn't have so please don't tell ANYONE I haven't told already what I told you please? eriously, please?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Sure?" Eyebrows. Climbing up. Totally not showing off, nor expecting to be yanked back into the water.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies moves over and YANKS.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Aaaaagh!" Fall!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "STAY IN THE WATER."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Why?!"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "What do you expect the Mistress will do if she." Pointing towards Momo, "Is caught looking at you while you are naked!?"
Star Seeker: "...think that you're trying to, ah, apply loyalty-enhancing techniques?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Fuck, Sis. Normally you have a little intelligence."
Star Seeker: "If her loyalty was in doubt?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Is there something wrong with looking?! We're both intelligent enough to know nothing's happening until the Mistress has calmed down!"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Damn right." Also damn shame. At least now she's looking away.
Star Seeker: "...oh, Skies. Umm. You'll probably want to wait to take this until you have dry hands, but." Star Seeker digs out that piece of the letter. "I got confirmation. She says she loves you."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Oh. Really?" And then Skies is getting out to look at it. Because he's not the one that's in danger. And because hearing about Jen shuts off every other part of his brain.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker holds it for Skies to see.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies instead ops to stand next to Star, "I don't want to ruin it." And read it over her shoulder.
Jen Michael: It's written in blue ink, and does indeed say:
Jen Michael: "PPS: Tell Skies I love him."
Star Seeker: "That is her handwriting, right?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Yes. Yes it is." She latches on to hug Star, "Oh thank you thank you." GRIIIIIIIN.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker stows the letter fragment Elsewhere quickly, knowing it is valuable to Skies, then accepts the hug. "So...after that training, I think I could use a bath. Would you mind if Momo and I joined you?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Feel free." Pale scoots over so there's plenty of room.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Ah... No... I'd better not, I'm overheated already..." Oh you are not Momo you're just bashful for reasons of not wanting your head chomped.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Me and Sis would be happy to finish up for you." He turns to Sis, "Or do we wish to risk it?"
Star Seeker: "Awwwh``~``. Oh well." Star shimmers and is naked, save for an amulet and a starmetal baton with a jewel in it, both of which she lays to one side as she steps into the bath.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Siiigh. "I can go." Pout.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "It's for your own sake." He frowns, "Don't act like I'm doing it to be mean."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "I know it is. Doesn't mean I can't grumble about it."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'm sorry." Frooooown. Frowny Girl!Skies.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Pouty Boy!Pale.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Frown Versus Pout, who will win!?!!??!?!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Well Pale is the pretty one who is mercilessly teasing Momo.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker just laps it up with her eyes. No one is objecting to her ogling, so.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo sighs, sitting with her back to the edge of the main pool, trying not to think about Man!Sis. And quite obviously failing.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies isn't ugly certainly. He's prettier than Star! She's prettier, that is. "Hmph."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Hmph." Pale ducks under the water, then gets out, striding across to grab a towel and head back to the house.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo is sort of surprised Pale didn't go for dragging her in, instead, but...
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I should probably head back with her, so she doesn't feel like I just wanted to be alone with you two." She turns and crawls out herself, but doesn't head off instantly, watching Star's amulet and baton for a moment.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Stealing those would be wrong. One of them is her clothes.
Star Seeker: "..."
Dukokinoko Momo: "..."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Doesn't help that Pale walked off with Skies' wrappings.
Star Seeker: Star tosses the baton up. It...doesn't come back down.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Not his wrappings! Oh well. He has no problem with body image. He does however set out on a full sprint on all fours towards the amulet to grab it, not being stealthy at all.
Star Seeker: The baton SHINKS and becomes a javelin right in front of him, pointy end set to impale him if he keeps moving for the amulet.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The Skies keeps going, baring hsi teeth and jumping for the javelin, as if to block it with her teeth. Because he will.
Star Seeker: The javelin moves to get bitten - and then yanks upward, carrying Skies out of reach of the amulet.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is suddenly very large. Larger than twice the size of the largest human. And very heavy.
Star Seeker: Star swims back and grabs her amulet while Skies is thus distracted.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is left with the Javelin, apparently? So Giant!Skies runs off on all fours with it in his mouth.
Dukokinoko Momo: As all this running around and horsing about and general shenaniganning is going on, Momo has already folded up her clothes, set them aside, and is doing a face up float in the water somewhere nearby but not in sight.
Star Seeker: Until Star holds her hand up, and the javelin teleports back to its master's grip.
Dukokinoko Momo: Ahhhh``~``
Star Seeker: Star Seeker then washes it off in the water.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: And so Skies is left without anything stolen. Damn it! Oh well, it was entertaining. Shrinking back to normal size, he just walks normal now.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker swims around gently. "Ahh...I hoped one of them would've stayed."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Anyone with any intelligence would notice the sounds of crunching leaves. Skies is not sneaky. He is however stupidly persistent.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze is currently on a thieving spree!
Dukokinoko Momo: And a slight cracking of her anima and Momo is now breaking the light, her thin, wan form now an advantage. The diet doesn't seem to be taking... Maybe it's just that she doesn't eat more than she ought?
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Sneaksneaksneakbadly.... suddenly Skies jumps out of the forest as a weasel, and tries to knock over Momo.
Dukokinoko Momo: ... Good luck doing that to someone who is already prone!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker watches Skies land on Momo.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Well, obviously she lands on her then. And then presses her paws on Momo's chest, and looks her in the eye. That's a rather heavy weasel, there.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo gives her a look, a specific look of "Great, now we are underwater and you are pawing my nonexistent breasts."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: That's a descriptive look. It moves off slowly however, and lets her breath.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker swims up, catching up Skies, and swims close to Momo to pin the weasel between them.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo has extremely expressive looks that start with mentioning her misfortune. Comes of having to run from Hunts for a year. She floats to the surface. Standing, then?
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Why are you pinning me?" The Weasel floats well.
Star Seeker: "Becaaause``~``."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Because?"
Star Seeker: Pin. Hug Momo. "It's fun?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Fun? What is this thing you call 'fun'."
Star Seeker: "And this way I can hug both of you at once?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "But I'm all wet. Surely that can't be fun. Wet fur is bad."
Star Seeker: "You're warm``~``."
Dukokinoko Momo: Snrrrrk. "There's that too."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: She blinks a few times. That is a female voice from that weasel, "I'm only as warm as the water."
Star Seeker: "So Momo``~``. I've heard you being...familiar...with Skies." Star Seeker smiiiles. "You knew he was married, right?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "... No?" Again, last person to know these things, she guesses.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "She was with Sis the only time it happened. I'd never touch her otherwise." And he waits a few moment, "And I didn't tell her, no. Even thaat time we talked? But yes, that was something that could have been brought to my attention.."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I didn't inform Sis of it either." The weasel is crying, "I do not like to think about my wife being taken from me, and until recently I hadn't known she was even really well, for a year and a half."
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo finally comforts the weasel.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: It's still crying, but nuzzles its face against Momo, and doesn't seem to mind her right now, "I'm sorry for not informing you. I promise I wasn't hurting her by doing that with you."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Better not." Severeface!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "She knows all about Sis, and she'll know about you as soon as she gets my letter. And I have permission to do what I want, as does she." DOT DOT DOT, "Not that I'd ever care to do anything with you if it wasn't for Sis being around."
Star Seeker: "..." Star Seeker 's hug gets less playful and more serious. Momo, he is At Your Mercy.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Wiggle wiggle! The weasel cannot get free! So suddenly, it's a human woman again, “Let me go! "
Star Seeker: Star Seeker relaxes the hug when forced to, but still holds. "Let Momo speak first."
Dukokinoko Momo: "..." Momo just looks her in the eyes, severely, petting her hair, lips not an inch from hers. "Skies... How much of this is what you believe. And how much is avoiding speaking in front of Silence...?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "All of it is me not liking you. Obviously." BEAT "Anything else to indicate otherwise has been something of your imagination."
Dukokinoko Momo: "So you make out with people you don't like?" Smuuug.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I don't recall this ever happening." STARE.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Mmmhm. Just a nice long quiet talk."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "All that was spoke of was my dislike of you, and how much of a monster you are." Still staring. Technically not lying either.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Indeed. Horrible, horrible demon me." She's stopped touching her.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Indeed." She's trying to pull away now.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker lets Skies go, then. "So as a completely independent third party, who is qualified to speak on matters of Essence, let me just say that it was only hot guys and good looking girl in a friendly situation. They could've been mortals and it'd have been the same story. Heck, they were certainly going at it like mortals."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "...What?" Skies turns to look at Star, instead of turn away.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... You saw?" She bites her lip.
Star Seeker: "I heard." Star smirks. "Considered joining in``~``. You weren't, ah, quiet."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blink... blink. Skies facepalms, "Sis knows too, Momo." He's using her name. :O
[OOC] Star Seeker: Though, for OOC clarity: she's making an offhand comparison to the techniques of certain sex gods - literally - she's seen as part of her training.
Dukokinoko Momo: And that seems to affect Momo much much more than anything else Skies has done so far; she jubilantly embraces Skies, speechless.
Star Seeker: "I guess she is okay with that."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "...Why are you hugging me." She's frozen solid, scared. And then hugs back lightly. "Uhm?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Name... You..." Are those hot tears on Skies's cheeks?
Star Seeker: "You've never called her 'Momo'?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blink. Blink. "...No?"
Star Seeker: "How about 'Dokukinoko'?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "...Nope."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker looks at Momo. "...I did get that right, right?"
Star Seeker: "Dokukinoko Momo?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Dukokinoko. But yes."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Can we stop hugging now. I am not enjoying this in the least."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker HUGS! Star Seeker glomps, even.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Luckily she doesn't fall over, "Please... don't."
Dukokinoko Momo: "Of course you're not." She backs away, smirking.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker lets go too, pouting a bit.
Dukokinoko Momo: SNIIIIIFF.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Suddenly she is a weasel again. Everyone would have seen a deep blush and a smile on her face before that though, "Do not doubt what I say."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker hugs Momo, then.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Of course not. Everything you say is absolutely the unvarnished truth, and you certainly weren't smiling before becoming a weasel again." She returned Star's hug with one arm, keeping the other open.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Of course not. You are seeing things. Maybe you've been in the hotsprings for too long, you seem to be hallucinating. Are you overheating?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "Perhaps, I do feel a bit hot."
Star Seeker: "I don't think it's just that``~``."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Must be the warm water." NOT RISING TO THE BAIT. But he swims forward and lets Momo hug him. If she wants.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze comes back, still nude, and sits on a rock. "What did I miss?"
Dukokinoko Momo: She hugs the weasel, petting said weasel. "Not much. Cuddles."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: And then the weasel... didn't do anything, just snuggled close to Momo and Star...
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Uh huh." Back in the water then!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker holds an arm out. "C'mere! Cuddles!"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Hugs! They happen!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker arranges to be in the center.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The weasel isn't hugging though. So how can Star be in the center? Unless she is sharing it with him, then she's on the outside hugging him, and he would be in the center.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker fails to be in the center!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze hugs Momo too?
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo has hugs for all!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies has dooking. Lots of it. No speaking though.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Dooking is happening from Pale too!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Atleast Skies is in the right form to be doing that. Kind of. "Doooooook."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Dookdookdook``~``"
Dukokinoko Momo: "You guys..." Smiiiles. Also tears.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Smiles! And nuzzles.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Moooooooooooomoooooooo." It nibbles on her cheeks, right under her eyes. Just very light teeth scratching on where tears would be.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker imitates the dooking. "Dookodkidoko?"
Dukokinoko Momo: She starts laughing. Oh, she's had snide sniggers once in a while, but laughing has usually not been around.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze snickers. "Dookodookido."
Star Seeker: "How about if we just call you Dooku from now on?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "... I have a feeling that's a bad idea."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Butbutbut." Sad pouty Pale! Who apparently has no plans to go back to being a girl anytime soon.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is by now done being affectionate. Welp, she didn't seem to care so neither does he. He instead tries to wriggle out of the naked women and man.
Dukokinoko Momo: Pet pet pet the poor timid weasel while she talks. "... But..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Weasel is not timid. It just doesn't like you. Jeeze. Why is that so hard for them to understand?
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Because at least one of them knows better and joins in the pettin's!
Dukokinoko Momo: And maybe all the making out he did with Momo was a counter indication. Just... Saying.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: There wasn't barely any making out. He resents those remarks. He remembers nothing of it, nor anything following such.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Self-control is getting difficult. Yes it is. Stop flinging those thoughts around Skies!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker considers, briefly, leading to more making out as a counterpoint. But Sis and Momo seemed to prefer no making out when both of them are present until the old lady could be talked to further.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: These are in thoughts. Skies is in now back to human form, and nearly starting a makeout with Momo. Solely because her face was already so close to Momos. It turns away quickly.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo kisses Skies's forehead, and smiles. "We should all get back to what we were doing before someone gets hurt."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker is there, ready to almost-intercept. Almost...but not quite forcing it upon him.
Star Seeker: "Awwwh``~``."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze is getting twitchy. Noticeably so.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies nearly kisses Star as he tries to pull away from the Momo-forehead kiss, and briefly meets hers. Before pulling away.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker does let go, though.
Star Seeker: "So...just so I can get this straight. You're holding back because you're worried she will think 'mental influence' if any of you three do go at it with any other of you three before she clears it, right?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "That about sums it up."
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo nods.
Star Seeker: "...so...does that mean I'm free and a likely target if any of you do have that urge and you need to vent it on someone before it's safe?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Not sure."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "No." Stare, "Because apparently she doesn't like you now either."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Mmhmm."
Star Seeker: "...ah." Star Seeker ponders.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Perhaps we should get dressed and out of here before she decides to swoop down?"
Star Seeker: "...that explains you two. Momo, if I'm guessing right, will refrain just because you're refraining? Bleh." Star flips out of the water, uncaring what anyone sees. "Yeah, you're right." Star Seeker is dressed again in a literal flash, and walking out.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis grumbles, grabbing the bustier and stalking out, heading towards the opposite side of the island this time.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies doesn't need clothes. Because he just turns into a pelican after getting away from Momo, and flies off towards home.
Dukokinoko Momo: "More because I'm okay with being frustrated and if it's what's needed to make sure everyone survives then... No one's sticking around for my speech, I'm just gonna finish washing up and go." Siiigh.
Pirates - Early Morning Part 4
In which silly shenanigans happen. Debatable canonocity.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Right. You guys can go back to being piled in my room. I'm going to take a nap in Sis' bed, since it's not a me-.... or I could go eat."
Dukokinoko Momo: Slowwwwly she turns. Step by step. Inch by inch! Any power worth learning is worth using stupidly once. But which target...?
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Bunny for breakfast~" Sis calls cheerfully, getting out pots and pans. She looks rather smug. There is also a giant floofball on her shoulder, and a much smaller one on the other one.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Well, Skies is already out the door with his essence powered boots, to go meet Sis, "I will destroy you if you hurt my Woogee."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Woogee's right here, spazz. On my shoulder. Mind getting him off? Irwin too please."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker looks. Such a cute meal! Star Seeker is also a more vulnerable, easier target.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He moves forward and grabs Woogee, hugging the rabbit close. "No, Irwin tries to attack him if I hold both."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Star, Momo? Could you get the kitten off before he-OW! IRWIN! OFF!" Irwin has climbed up her head.
Dukokinoko Momo: Crabby walk! Crabby walk! clacka clacka clacka. "I PEENCH!" PEEEENCH Sis not hard and besides everyone is there.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis squawks indignantly and suddenly there is a fresh, bloody rabbit pelt bloody-side-first on Momo's face. "No peench!"
Star Seeker: "...don't abuse the leather?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin mews from where he's got his claws sunk into Sis' scalp.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies is hugging his rabbit closer, and moves over to Star to set Woogee down in her lap, "Meet Woogee."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker peers close. Star Seeker looks at the other rabbit.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: The other rabbit is not nearly as floofy. And is also boring brown.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker looks at Woogee. "...this...is not an emergency food supply?"
Dukokinoko Momo: "AH! No not the bunny skin! But peench!"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "No. No it is not. Woogee is my pet from back home. Isn't he cute?" He pets the bunny.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "No peench! Peench and no bunny for breakfast! And GET THE KITTEN CLAWS OUT OF MY SCALP."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: “Mow!”
Star Seeker: "Woogee is...fluffy." Star pets.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Yes. Yes he is. He's also very soft." Woogee is indeed very soft, if not quite as soft as Skies' Ice Weasel form.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis is trying to skin the other bunny that she hasn't already skinned. "Seriously. Will one of you PLEASE get Irwin off of my head."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Mow!"
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo is working on that, verrrry gently.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin keeps setting his claws back in as soon as a paw is released.
Star Seeker: "So you all have pets here?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Ow. Fuck. Owwwwww."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker walks over and helps extricate, by keeping Irwin's removed paws removed.
Dukokinoko Momo: As in not trying to remove paws but rather getting Irwin to calm down.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "More like I adopted this addle-brained twit." Irwin sinks his claws into Star's hands. He is an adorable ball of sharp pointy things.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Mow!"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: ...Skies walks over, grabs Irwin by the scruff of the neck, and lifts the cat rather roughly.... not enough to make it let go if it's really focused, but most of the time being lifted from there is an 'off' switch.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker weaves her hands around Irwin to at least remove him entirely from Sis.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin mews and whines but finally stops clawing everything. "Thank you. There's a bit of cloth over on my pillow you can wrap him in to calm him down please..." And breakfast is now frying.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies leaves Star and Momo to deal with the cat, moving to play with his well-mannered bunny. This happens with him sitting down near it, and it hopping up right into his lap to nibble on his fingers softly.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Well. I don't know if Coleridge classifies as a pet, but he seems to know what he's doing and seems to want to hang around..."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis laughs, washes her hands off, then grabs the cloth and wraps the kitten up. "Sorry. He's decided that he needs to be clingy today, apparently. Are your hands alright?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Mow!"
Star Seeker: "Only surface wounds here. So, are we showing off our pets?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin is much more adorable now that he's less terrified. "Seems to be the case." Oh gods Star not with Sis close to the fire.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Woogee has always been adorable. And he always will be more adorable than Irwin. He declares this in the bunny tongue towards the cat.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Mow!" Irwin refutes this and proceeds to purr like a well-maintained first age engine, which makes Sis coo over him.
Star Seeker: "...your file said something about aradna...no, aracha...something about how you don't do well with spiders?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "File? Yeah Momo or Bro usually have to throw them outside unless I'm a cat at the time. Then I just eat them."
Star Seeker: "Ah. You would be unable to eat this one - it would pass through your mouth - but I shall not summon just now, if that is the case."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The bunny refutes back by looking up at Skies and wiggling its nose a few times. "Awww..."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin does one better and wiggles out to stand on Sis's shoulder and try to play with Star's hair, mewing cutely.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Are they actually competing?" That can't be right...
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "What would make you think that?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin divebombs the peach-hair!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Floof floof floof purr.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis loses it.
Star Seeker: "..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: The bunny hops around in a small circle before it curls up in itself, and suddenly looks like a giant cotton ball. It doesn't need to attack people to look cute.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... Even your pets floof my hair!"
Star Seeker: "I have never seen a cat attempt to be a hairstylist before."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis joins in the floofing, laughing too hard to reply.
Dukokinoko Momo: "Aaaaugh stop floofin my hair," Momo says, sounding a little annoyed.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Nevar! Floof ALL the hair!"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Skies probably knows that means it's time to run, because Sis means it.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker is clueless. Surely Sis doesn't mean to...
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze FLOOF the Star-hair!
Dukokinoko Momo: "... All of the hair?"
Star Seeker: "..."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "All of it."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker looks to Momo. Nods. "On one?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Floof floof.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies' hair has never been mentioned for how it looks or is in length. And it shall not be mentioned today.
Dukokinoko Momo: "One." Aaaand now Sis is being double teamed with the inappropriate floofin.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker actually giggles as she teams up upon Sis!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Good luck floofing Sis's hair! it's perfectly straight and doesn't stay floofed long.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker just re-floofs it, then!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis giggles good-naturedly and sits down so they can reach, though.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "You three are insane. I'm going to go now."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "On one?" Smiiiiile.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: And Skies heads back to the bedroom. QUickly.
Dukokinoko Momo: "... He thinks he's getting away."
Star Seeker: "He does."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "He does indeed. One." CHASE!
Dukokinoko Momo: RUN!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker FLASHES into his path. Wait, Momo might recognize that move.
Dukokinoko Momo: "..." Oh yeah she knows that one.
Star Seeker: "Hi."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis is more worried about getting to the floofy hair to worry about that!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker blocks Skies as best she can!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Irwin jumps down and flees under the bed.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: And then Skies ducks down, and uses his suddenly lmuch larger strength to try and throw Star. At the others.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker grabs on to Skies' arms!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Lady of the Pale Gaze ducks!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies swings Star instead then. You do realize they are in a small house right? She ends up flying with him past the point she was meant to be thrown, and hit into a wall... probably.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker lets go at the last minute and blinks outside, where she can roll to a halt.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "No floof?" Sadface!
ST: ... Breakfast is burning!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "No. No floof." How long is his hair even!? What type of hair does he have!?
Dukokinoko Momo: "... I got it-" SALVAGE BREAKFAST!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "You see what happens when you act like children?"
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Thank you! Why no floooooof?" Pfffft. This was an average morning back home. Except there were what... twenty of us doing that? "
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "No 'floof' because you know my hair doesn't floof."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Neither does mine and they tried!" It really doesn't. It's back to lying flat.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I don't like my hair being touched."
Star Seeker: "There are other forms of touching," Star comments as she walks back in.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "That doesn’t involve doing it with my hair."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker smiles vacantly. "It can~."
Dukokinoko Momo: "..." She's not saying it. Noooooot saying it. Snrk.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Too easy."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "...Do I want to know?"
Star Seeker: "Doing 'it' with your hair. We could split it up, make three bundles..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He blinks a few times, "It's not that long." It hasn't been cut in three and a half years, Skies.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo bets he says that to all the girls. Snrk.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker strokes his hair. "Long enough to hold a knot. Or three."
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis snickers too.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He pulls away, quickly, "Do not touch my hair."
Star Seeker: "Awwh~."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'm going back to bed. I'm injured." And into his bedroom he goes, flopping out on the bed.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "Aww..." Sis goes in to tuck him in, at least.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He's flopped, "Go away. Ugh." She'd get a pillow to the face if pillows weren't super comfy.
Star Seeker: Star Seeker ges to help Momo with the food.
Dukokinoko Momo: Momo seems to have quality assurance well in hand!
Lady of the Pale Gaze: Sis kisses his cheek. "Sleep well, brother dear." Abscond back to the main room, door closed!
Pirates - Early Morning Part 3
In which Skies and Star discover they in fact know the same woman, and Momo spies upon them.
Star Seeker: Just when Skies thinks he is all alone in the waking world... "Married?" Is there a slight edge to Star's voice? It is hard to tell.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Sudden turn to look at Star, "I assume you were listening in?" He's back to being hardened. Okay, that's a lie, his voice still shows his emotions perfectly, "Yes. I'm married."
Star Seeker: "I heard part of it. Amulet as wedding ring - reminds me of somone I know. Not that I mind the seduction, but here I thought I was getting to you."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Apologies. I'm not easily charmed. Not unless you're her. She caught my heart faster than I expected, or realized." A sad sigh as he looks away from Star, "I'm sorry for lying to you, and leading you to thinking something that isn't true, if I did."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker shrugs. "At least it was caught before it went too far. What happened to her, if I may ask?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "She." He smiles, weakly, "Is why I know what you are."
Star Seeker: "... Oh...really?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Yes."
Star Seeker: "And yet you remember her?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I have a perfect memory, and a strong mind. I've forgotten bits and pieces, but we worked around it."
Star Seeker: "So tell me about her. There aren't that many of us. Maybe I've met her."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I doubt it. She has a different marking than yours. Aren't you organized into groups based on that part of your power?"
Star Seeker: "Somewhat, but we do work across those divisions. For instance, my sifu has a blue one. Looks almost like mine, except for the horns."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Mm. She's... I don't know how to describe her. Lovely? Beautiful? Amazing? Those are all opinions, as much as I believe them to be true. She's the kindest person I'd ever met, and..." Oh god Stars you've made him start crying again.
Star Seeker: "Yeah, yeah, let's start with hair color. Eye color. Skin color, even."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker does hug, though.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "She... she had brown hair... and the palest most beautiful blue eyes..." Sniffsniff, "She was kind of short, but... very... curvy for her size."
Star Seeker: "...uh...huh..." Hug, pat, pat.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "And she was so pale, always. Even when we spent time in the sun she'd always go back to being so pale you could just see the blood under her skin." He has his head pressed against Star's shoulder now to stifle a few soft cries.
Star Seeker: "...what was her name?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "J-J-J-Jen..." He barely whispers it out, choking after saying it. Star, why are you so mean?
Star Seeker: Blink. "Oh. OH! Yeah, I know her. We should definitely get to Heaven, then, so I can take you to see her. That would explain how she knew you so well, but...hrm..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He looks up at her and blinks a few times, "But... I thought that if you didn't have buisness it wasn't allowed...?" He seems so happy to hear that though, "How do you know her?"
Star Seeker: "We'll come up with business. She's my sifu. And she lives next door to me."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blinkblink. SQUEEZE. "How is she? You need to tell me everything. Please."
Star Seeker: "Can't...breathe..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He slowly lets go, "I-I'm sorry. Please...?"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker pants a bit. "Sooo...she's fine? I don't know your picure of her so I can't compare. She often reads a set of letters - I assume they're yours? She seemed a bit lonely. If she's been missing you, that owuld explain it. She was recruited not that many months before I was."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Yes. I write every time I come back here of what happened, so she knows how I am. She writes back, sometimes." SNiffsniff, "I miss her so. I'm glad to hear she's okay... even if she is lonely... just knowing that is..." Oh god there comes the tears again.
Star Seeker: "...hmm. Maybe I misunderstood, then. She said I should comfort you." Star Seeker blushes. "When you came to me like...well, that, I assumed she meant..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blinkblink, "Assumed she meant what exactly? If I recall, I told you I didn't want anything if it wasn't of your choice."
Star Seeker: "To fuck you until you're wrapped around my finger. I was given to understand that such loyalty-ensuring tactics are not uncommon on our missions."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He blinks a few times, "Wow. That would be a horrible way to gain my loyalty, first of all. Sex? It is a natural thing. Something that happens all the time. Why would I view it as anything special? You want to know how to gain my loyalty? Spend time with me, just talking. Cuddle with me. Sex is nothing but recreation, unless it is to have a child."
Star Seeker: "Orrr it can be heightened into an addiction."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'm good at dealing with addictions." Staaare.
Star Seeker: "This one's a rather powerful one. But, no matter. It's not what she meant." Star Seeker puts an arm around him. "So. Cuddle, you say."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He stares at her blankly. "You honestly are expecting me of wanting to cuddle with you, knowing all it is for is to ensure loyalty? Even were I not thinking about my wife I would not be interested in such."
Star Seeker: "Ensure loyalty, make friends. I'm...kinda having to relearn those things."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Why is that?" Distraction from sad wife thoughts!
Star Seeker: Star Seeker looks at him. "You've never had everything you believed in ripped out in an instant. When I learned the truth about Skullstone - the place and people I'd grown up with, trusted all my life... But! That's why I'm here. To recruit you three into helping me set things right. I think Sisi and Momo are on board. We just have to sneak into Skulstone's most secret area and show something to the Celestial censors. It'll take some prep, but it shouldn't be too hard."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'm sure if you told them your story they would be. Sis is a bleeding heart if I have ever met one." And then he jsut stares at her, "Yes, lets sneak into one of the most powerful nation's in the West's top secret area and then give something from there to Yu-Shan. That's a simple task. Or we can all end up getting killed for rushing it when we aren't powerful enough. How long can your task wait?"
Star Seeker: "There's no firm time limit other than, 'Before the Silver Prince uses the fleet he's been keeping hidden'. I agree, we should prepare for it. Get supplies, train. Just...not forever."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Forever is a long time. I don't think even we will live that long." He smiles softly. "Hopefully we will finish before then, for you as much as for ending whatever this threat is."
Star Seeker: "Yeah. I was thinkig we could start by raiding their shipping." Star giggles. "I remember some of the trade routes, and there's a certain captain I owe a good smacking to."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I don't like the idea of harming innocents, even if they are working for him. Especially if they are tricked like you are."
Star Seeker: "All the living are tricked. And the dead. Except for a few, bound to him by Essence."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'm not comfortable with hurting innocents to weaken him then. We take his supply lines and his people end up starving to death, do they not?"
Star Seeker: "...he has to keep some alive, for now. If he didn't, he wouldn't, simple as that."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ugh." He rubs at his eyes, "I don't know what to think or say. We'll need to plan. For now we can keep hurting pirates and train from our experiences with them, then we can risk ourself against a threat like this."
Star Seeker: "And, honestly, it's the same with the ghosts. Most people who die and don't come back, people think they're reincarnating. They're soulsteel. He has to let some of them 'live', though. For now."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ugh. It... it makes me sick to think about people being manipulated like that."
Star Seeker: "Then I'll spare you the rest. I wouldn't want you vomiting right here and now. And..." Star looks to the side, hugging herself. "...some of it is that bad."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: ...Skies hugs her, an arm wrapping around her to press her head near his shoulder, "You don't have to talk or think about it. Just put it out of your mind for now. I promise I'll help when the time comes."
Star Seeker: "I...can't. It's all I ever was. And it's a lie."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Well, then we can make you a new home, no? And help you craft yourself into being whole, without being based on a lie."
Star Seeker: "...I would appreciate that." Star Seeker leans into Skies' hug.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "You're welcome to stay with me and Sis as long as you can. Or longer." He lifts a finger up to shh her, with a little impish smile, "And we'll be your friends even after that."
Star Seeker: "Thanks``~``. Though I do wish Jen had told me you were her husband."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Why is that, dear?"
Star Seeker: "Because now I feel so guilty for sleeping with my best friend's love."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Did we do something that I don't remember? All I remember is you falling asleep on me." Blank faced, "Did you drug me?" It would not be the first time Skies has been drugged.
Star Seeker: "...maybe I just dreamt it."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ah. Well. Atleast I know where your mind goes when you think of me." He smirks lightly, "I expect that you know that me and Jen, while horribly and madly in love, are not exactly exclusive anymore?"
Star Seeker: "I...figured...but still. She's my friend."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "And you're mine? Or I'd like you to be. If you aren't comfortable with it, then we won’t do it. It's as simple as that. I want to make you feel comfortable, as if you are part of a family, and I want you to do only what you want to do."
Star Seeker: Star bluuushes. "W-well...I mean...I've heard you three on the boat sometimes..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ah?" He doesn't blush, but looks embarrassed, "Blame Sis."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker nods. "It...w-well...wasn't just you I was thinking of using those...ah, rather enjoyable 'loyalty enhancers' on..." Bright pink! We have achieved bright pink!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Aaah." He nods a little, "Tell me, who were you most interested in ensuring the loyalty of?"
Star Seeker: "...all of you. At once. Eventually."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blinkblink. "That's a little ambitious."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker giggles. "Well...they said to not think too small. I have the power. I'm supposed to use it. So do you."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Skies just... yeah, he's blinking a few times, "What power would that be?"
Star Seeker: Star Seeker cocks her head, then flares her symbol. "There aren't that many of you, and even less of me."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ah. Of course." He nods, "I don't see how that is related to your 'aiming high'
Star Seeker: "W-well...umm..." Blush reaching critical redness!
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "You are a pervert. That's the first thing I have learned of you being you."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker pouts! "I'm just doing as my sifu taught me."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Ugh. I don't think I want to hear about how she acts without someone with good self-control around."
Star Seeker: "...this isn't what you remember of her?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "What I remember is her needing someone to contain her or she'd want everyone. Well. Not that bad."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker nods. "A-and...well...she was kinda the only one I could trust, for a long while."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: He nods a few times, "Am I to assume you're one of the ones she took her pervertedness out on?" Direct!
Dukokinoko Momo: Is someone nodding sagely along with her? A shadow perhaps? Or a shard of glass...?
Star Seeker: "...maaaybe?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I'd like to know, dear. She hasn't named any in specific in her letters. At least not more than once. I assumed she didn't get anyone like I found Pale." Ouch. Could this actually be a touchy subject?
Star Seeker: "...she doesn't have anyone like Pale that I know of, unless you count me. A-and there was legitimate training! A Sidereal must be comfortable socializing, and that includes sex."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Aha." He nods. "Okay. I'm not angry with you over it."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker deflates a little. She had in fact been worked up over that.
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "I don't see why I should be angry at all. I have a lover, a true one, who I would give my life in the defence of. If anyone has any right to be angry it is her."
Star Seeker: "For what?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Anything?"
Star Seeker: "..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "......"
Dukokinoko Momo: "......"
Star Seeker: "...do...you want to give her something to be mad about? Just the three of us?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: Blinkblink, "No? I do not want to anger her."
Star Seeker: "Ah K."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker minds. "What about you?"
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Do you have any other questions on it all?"
Dukokinoko Momo: What? There's no one else here. What are you talking about. No one. Nope.
Star Seeker: "Oh, I didn't mean you. Don't you think it's odd that we aren't hearing Momo sleep any more, but Sis went off by herself? I was just casting about in case she was listening."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "If they snuck off together I expect we will be hearing the Mistress trying to eat them soon enough."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "And we already had one person listening in when she shouldn't be. Who cares if someone else does too."
Star Seeker: Star Seeker giggles. "Sorry. I tend to do that sometimes."
Dukokinoko Momo: Is there a faint motion near that dark corner? With perhaps two hands working as pinchy nommy things?
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "You should stop doing it. It's bothersome." He rolls his eyes, "Some things aren't for you to know."
Star Seeker: "... ...that's...how I got into this mess, kinda..."
Fluid Drawn of Empty Skies: "Well. I am glad you are in the mess you are, even if you are not better off, I enjoy your company the littlest amount possible." Hey, the DereDere finally stopped!
Star Seeker: "...thanks."
Dukokinoko Momo: ... Not going to do a surprise attack. Wouldn't be funny. No. Not good.
Lady of the Pale Gaze: "BREAKFAST IS HERE!"
