Thank you @kald-dal-write for tagging me in unpopular Hunger Games headcanons - a few of mine.
- District Four is as much a Career District as 1 or 2, and doesn't get much of anything from the fishing industry.
- Likewise, 7 and 10 are very rare in getting kids with lumberjack/slaughterhouse skills.
- The books have increasingly fallen into tokenization of Districts - 11 is always strong scary boys, 1 is always spawn of satan girls, 4 is the 'not really a Career' District etc.
- The Covey very much shrink the world - I get they rep the deaths of minority culture under authoritarianism, but 'most everything 'Seam' turns out to actually be Covey - which just makes it feel like the poo people meme.
- The Districts likely have varying levels of development - somewhere like 12 is very different than 1 or 5.
- Likewise, loyalists exist everywhere - and don't just disappear at the 'end' of the war, there's still fighting after the Capitol falls. Looking at you 9.
