Past and Future - PiperxJD
The dark filled the room and Jongdae's mind as he was cuddled up to Piper on her bed. He watched the dark get cut by passing cars and the silence filled with the sound of coughing from a stranger outside. Everything was calm and quiet. Piper was asleep in his arms and everything was perfect.
Yet this sense of dread and fear was filling him. Making his fingers twitch and pick at everything, like this would be the last time he would feel these blankets. His eyes wander about the room, as if he would never see it like this again. And his heart beat fast and his body forced itself to stay awake, as if this was the last time he would hold Piper like this in his arms.
He sighed and nuzzled his face into her hair, hearing her sigh contently and hug him tighter. No, his mind was just getting ahead of itself. Everything would be just fine. It always was.
He exhaled softly and cuddled Piper tight, letting go of his memorizing of the room and deciding that sleep would be better. Â He scooted down and pressed his face against Piper's chest and slowly drifted off to sleep, his mind still running wild until sleep called it to be dormat.
It was a forest. He looked around at all the trees and the grass, all his senses being attacked it with it's beauty and sounds. He walked forward through the trees, touching them with his hands. He knew this place. but how?...Â
He kept walking, feeling the grass between his toes. It was nice. He realized now, he only had a pair of white, cotton pants on. Nothing else. He could feel the leaves brush against his chest and arms and small twigs and branches scratching at his back.Â
The sense that he knew this place filled him more, able to walk along a path that he couldn't see or feel, but knew. He knew this place and he knew how to get where ever he was going. But where was he going. He could hear the birds chirp as he kept walking, on and on through the trees.Â
Suddenly, he stepped out into a clearing and the sun had gone down, the world nearly pitch black except for the fire that burned in the center. And that's how he realized he knew this place because this is the path he took to find...
Minseok.
He stood on the edge of the clearing, his arms behind his back as he fought with the man holding him there. The alpha. A growl ripped through Jongdae as he launched forward. His Minseok. He wanted him back so bad it hurt. He roared as he tried to launch himself over the fire only to fall back for some reason. Arms clasped on his as he struggled and tried to get to Minseok. He screamed Minseok's name, over and over.Â
The Alpha shoved his lover to the ground before grabbing his arm, and pulling hard, almost ripping the poor boy's arm off. Minseok sobbed and Jongdae fought harder, trying to protect and save his mate. His love. He roared again as Minseok's other arm was disloacted.Â
"Stop it! Stop it!" Jongdae yelled, over and over until he started to cry himself. The alpha crouched down beside Minseok, petting him as the smaller sobbed.Â
"Oh? You want me to stop?" He said. He put both hands on either side of Minseok's head. "Fine then."Â
He twisted and there was a loud crack, Minseok's head turned around on his body.Â
"MINSEOK!" Jongdae screamed as he launched forward, half changed with claws and teeth.Â
