“Beach Blanket Beatdown! The second beach blanket design done as a tie-in to Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars. No idea why they used the other logo! Inks by the Immortal Mr.Joe Sinnott!” - by Ron Frenz.
As far as I have been able to find, this was produced as a Beach Towel in the mid 1980s, and Ron Frenz has confirmed it was produced as well. I have never seen a published version of what the towel looked like, as it was produced in limited quantities and probably got worn out by the kids that had these towels within a year or two. That being said, if anyone has a photo of one, I’d love to see it!
