Day 30 and end of the challenge! All inspiration for this challenge comes from the marvelous book "Sketchnotes, Visuelle Notizen für Alles" by Nadine Roßa - edited by TOPP (in German). Also, a small homage to one of my favourite artists ever: Bill Watterson 💙💚💛💜 This bruised and battered second hand book manages to make me smile every time I pick it up! .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As always, the challenge recap: I've fallen in love with noses! 👃I used to hate drawing them, but now I just love going to town with them. 😁 .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ditto about hair. Short hair is not that difficult after all!💇 And curly hair is just sooo much fun, I now like to overdo it.💃 .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Movement is more difficult to depict, at least for me. Actions are hard, because the figures often interact with objects and I usually draw this from the side, which isn't easy. I guess I'll have to keep practicing! .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also, a detailed face on a stick figure body looks weird, balance is key! .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Challenges with other people are more fun. I also enjoy playing around with the meaning of words instead of doing random sketches. Having said that, all practice is good and I'm glad I have at least figured out faces 💪 .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Challenges are a lot of work! I'll never do one again! Wait... What's inktober? Oh oh... 😂😂😂 .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #sketchnoteChallenge #strichMännchenMalen #pintandoMonigotes https://www.instagram.com/p/BoWCdqQgay2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=kj057ttakmjf
