here are where all of the founders came from! Drystar was a low ranking warrior in ArchClan, and Shypelt was originally a PathClan medicine cat. he was never exiled, or anything, but PathClan lives close to the Thunderpath and Twoleg place (hence the name— they live by a path). as such, the clan comes and goes, so he’s spent a considerable amount of time as a loner. he joined HushClan because he felt moved to by the stars!
speaking of StarClan— the river the clans have situated themselves around is very culturally and spiritually important. messages are said to come from StarClan down the river, and at the river mouth, Openwater sits— a place where the water touches the sky, and StarClan cats can freely visit the living as they please.
the coyotes, who have been here for far longer, say it’s just a river. besides, no cat has ever made it there and back to tell the tale.
