A more gruesome take on #Metalger this is based off the fact that these two During the K.A.O.S. era.. were having conflicts behind the scenes.
But less on their relationship but more on Metal's way of coping with the aftermath of Roger's departure of the former group Pink Floyd. And the way it went down deeply troubled him. And his trust with people crumbled. It then grew into hate.
And Metal became more overprotective over Roger and it got so bad to the point Roger was being influenced by him behavior wise and a bit more aggressive than he was before. He soon realized this isn't good for him so he told Metal to cut it out and ofc Metal obliged and saw the errors of his ways. This was certainly a rough time for the two of them. Feeling a deep sense of betrayal internally.
They both understood thier prospectives on why they were so set on thier ways. It was just a short era of miscommunication. And they took a short break of being so bonded with each other like the past few years.
Not really shown here but he was rarely shown not wearing his sunglasses for two reasons. One is because he simply liked wearing them, and two... He was hiding eyes that made him look like "a monster." And his eyes looked terribly tired due to Metal being bonded with him since '79. He had never looked more drained since. Because again it was a very tough time for the two of them. They have since healed and became open minded with one another.

Small Metalger or more iconically known as "Marshger" lore 😊 either or is fine! I use Metalger for more raw and unfiltered visuals. (Also because its my alt name.)
