#pink lid

It swirled and it fizzed, the white juices exhilarating to the taste buds, the sugar contained within beginning to rot his teeth to the core.  It sloshed in the bottle as he stopped drinking it and screwed the cap back on.  He had always found the flavour so refreshing and she used to collect the bottle caps of that particular Pink Lemonade.  He thought about her now, how she used to produce works of art from nothing and how she could arrange the bottle caps in such a way to act as her canvas.  She loved pink - not hot pinks or exciting pinks but more like a soft cotton or baby pink.  He smiled at the memory of her opening her last birthday present he had sketched up for her; an A2 study of a traditional Schweppes bottle cap but chalked in tones of pink.  She loved it.
