These two both have saved wishes to have 10 children, so they are breeding like rabbits. We have Dawn, Francis, Hilary, Ian, Isabelle, Leslie, and Leo all at home. Dawn and Francis, the two teens, do a lot of the child rearing, like you might expect.
At least they are being good sports about it.
At one point, There were two infants and two toddlers, and that is likely about it happen again since Sandy is pregnant again. I need to get around to installing a triplets and quads mod to speed the suffering period up in the future.
Isabelle has been spending more time with this stray dog, Stinky, than any of her siblings. I am sure she will grow up to be well adjusted. Surely this has nothing to do with the fact she is child number five out of seven.
Stewart Family
Gloria came home with Cora after school, and they got along like a house fire. I can't wait to see what shenanigans get get up to.
Cora Grew up into a teen and wanted to get some new clothes. Her mom agreed to take her shopping, as long as she worked a shift at the pet store. Which she did, and it went quite well. They still need to go out shopping, but I think Cora is going to be helping her mom out at Pineview Pets more often in the future.
Sally finally learns how to cook so that she can avoid Amin, who owns the only restaurant in town.
Valery Household
Felica moves in and starts a knick-knack shop in hopes of banging tourists. I wish her the best of luck.
She also apparently bought a dog of her own free will. I didn't know that was something that could happen.
But I love Benny the elderly corgi, and he gets to stay around, even if he is constantly pissing on the floor.
WendelHousehold:
Jennifer is a romantic, and opened her florist shop in this small town in hopes of finding The One. Very Hallmark of her. So far she has had very little luck in the realms of business or love.
Kumar Family
Elvira and Omar moved their children Tina and Jeana to the new development of Mt. Sequoia ready to become a part of local history. Omar started a job as an oceanographer while Elvira started the town's first pool.
It ain't much, but it's wet.
With their parents working so hard, Tina is the main one taking care of Jeana. They are pretty adorable together.

Despite the fact that neither her love or business life are going particularly well, and she just got robbed, including her pottery table, Felica is surprisingly happy. You go girl!
But we still have her refocus, I am not going to do the 20 simultaneous lovers LTW, so I have her switch to a Fortune/romance sim, and now she wants to be a magician.
So we shut down the store, give her a living room, and get her that job.
It's a rough start, but it's a paycheck, and bills are due.
While she has all the skills she needs for promotion already, I know charisma and creativity are going to be key going forward, so we focus on those skills on her day off.
Oh my, that's a way go to autonomously great Sally.
Felica got a lot of the networking and skill building that she would need done through her (now dead) business, so she manages to get a spot as a lounge singer by the end of the week.
Jessica grew up into a toddler and I'm not gonna lie... She's kind of ugly, even for an alien. Hopefully she will grow into her face a little. She does have her grandma's nose, so that's adorable.
Good thing we have another shot with baby Malory, who also has her grandma's nose, and I think has a better shot at having genetics I actually want in the gene pool. It's the sims, I swear I am only doing virtual eugenics.
On another note, with baby Malory being born, we are half way through the alphabet already! If you don't know, I am naming the babies born in Pineview in alphabetical birth order. Multiples get the same first initial. (Which is why Blake is up next) I think I will put a full list of all the sims born in town at the end of this post to celebrate this milestone.
This is how Bennet has been sleeping while he avoids work by constantly going on "maternity leave" and taking his strangely copious days of PTO. He seriously got away with not going to work the whole week, and still has PTO left over. It's good news for him, because there still aren't any baby sitters in the town of Pineview. By the way, Bennet how are you feeling about getting abducted again now that you have spent a few days sharing a room with a baby and a toddler?
"I'm good, actually."
Good. Oh! I see the girls aged up, how are they looking?
Uh, well, they both still have time! I swear it's not just that they are aliens... At least I think so.
Bennet not working also means he's also not getting bonuses, which means the sleeping arrangements aren't great. The kids are going to be a lot too. Jessica is max Neat, Outgoing, and active, serious and grouchy. She is going to be hard to make happy. Malory meanwhile is sloppy, active, playful, nice, and middling between outgoing and shy. It's going to be an interesting relationship for sure.
And I see Bennet is answering "Where do baby's come from?" so I am going to leave him to explain where she came from.
Merph Family (Blake and Chloe)
Ah, fuck. I forgot this was the damn cat breeding family. (This is 2/3 kittens, for a total of 3/20 total animals we will have to breed, and find something (hopefully ethical) to do with.) *Sigh*
I also forgot they had twins. I didn't have enough room to talk about them in the last post, which is how I was refreshing myself on where I was at in the playthrough. (The main reason I post these ngl) These are babies Kevin and Katherine. I also apparently built the five cats their own room, but shoved the babies in their parent's room. gotta lock in
These parents aren't about to be dead beats, at least the cats need to get jobs. Humans, your task is figure out how you can profit off the kittens.
"We should just call over a neighbor and sell it to them."
You know what Chloe, I am starting to warm up to you. Let's start the towns first business rivalry with two pet sellers, why not?
The pets will be going by the same rules as the rest of the babies in town, so here is Abe taking a quick shit before being the first kitten sold off. A townie named Melisa Fancey paid 399 simoleons for him. This is certainly not worth the effort, but I am in for it for the wish based game play because I live for the chaos.
Allan (left) went to another townie, Makoto St. Julien. I want to save at least one cat for one specific sim once I can get Chole to meet her, so for now, Ariel (right) is staying with us.
Good job, guys!
Extra good job to Sapphire for getting a promotion the same day she had two kittens! Say "hello" to Burnt Toast and Bendy Straw!
And say "goodbye" to Burnt Toast! He got sold to some townie called Shelby Barrett. Then say "see you later" to Bendy Straw. She got sold to Bennett, because of course he needs something else to take care of. If you have been yelling at your screen, I am so sorry. This was the moment I realized that in order to fulfil Chloe's lifetime wish I needed to let them grow into adults first. I am going to be less dumb going forward.
Ariel grew up into an adult, and she looks so dumb, she's adorable. She has a job in showbiz, of course. We now have a corrected 1/20 pets raised by Chloe.
I have to give Chloe and Blake some credit for their dedicated cat training, litter box cleaning, and food bowl refilling. This isn't a way of earning cash I would normally go for, but that's one of the best parts of playing a challenge like this. That said, it was time to take that even further and get some dogs to breed!
Lady the great dane, and Sausage the Borzoi.
Despite the odds, my happily married family sims aren't having any wants to have more children, thank goodness.
They just want more puppies. Welcome to the world Centrifuge (female,) Cartoon (male,) Cauliflower (male,) and Catholic Schism of 2026, Catholic Schism in game for character limit purposes, but I want to be clear his name is in reference to recent events.
Ruby and Sapphire also have Duster, Depression, and Denial.
Thank goodness it's time to move on to a different household.
Here that list of babies born in Pineview, a total of 18 from 13 pregnancies:
Alexander Rue (now Adam-Rue) Bennet and Blake Merph, Charlie Merph, Dawn Adam-Rue, Ethan and Evan Merph, Francis Adam-Rue, Gloria Merph, Hilary Adam-Rue, Ian and Isabelle Adam-Rue, Jessica Merph, Kevin and Katherine Merph, Leo and Leslie Adam-Rue, and Malory Merph.
Cora and Sally's relationship just continues to blossom, it's honestly really sweet.
Ah, fuck.
Well, at least everyone is okay.
The pet shop is the most successful business in town.
A big part of that is Charlie Tang here, who is a great manager.
Sally still acts as cashier most of the time because all the employees are still pretty slow. Luckily, there are two cash registers so an employee can practice while Sally knocks most of the sales out so no one gets upset.
Having a day off from school gave Gloria and Cora the perfect excuse to have another dream date. Unfortunately, they still aren't in love. I want these two to be together so bad I am going to give her some elixir of life so she has more time for it to happen this week, before she becomes an adult and likely falls in love with Dawn, after after another dream date fails to make it happen, I am starting to accept it's not meant to be.
Cora almost becomes an orphan when Sally electrocutes herself trying to fix the TV.
She might be kind of dumb for trying right after seeing what happened to her mom, but Cora manages to fix it without incident.
With the pet store doing so well, we leave it for a day so we can focus on fulfilling Sally. She goes on a date with Amin, and despite getting slapped by one of his other flirts, she has a great time.
I don't think Amin did though. He got beat up three times on this date.
Welp. Despite the pet store's objective lack of success when she isn't there, she decides she wants to start another business anyways.
One 30,00 Simoleon loan later, we get Sometimes Fitness. While it's going to be a while before we can pay off this loan, people are immediately attracted to the gym.
Cora ages up into an adult, and it's time to invite Dawn over and see what happens. Due to her attachment to her mom, she is a family sim secondarily, so this could escalate quickly.
Cora reaches for Dawn's hands, nervous if they will still connect after all this time, but as soon as they touch, they are in love again.
They waste no time, and Cora asks him to stay the night. Sally is so busy Cora is pretty sure she won't even notice. Only a moment later, they both roll wants to get engaged to each other, and she proposes.
He says yes, but after she proposes, her wants reroll, and...
This is going to get compliacted.
But for now Cora thinks to herself, this is nice. They wake up shortly after Sally gets home, and when Cora comes out of her bedroom she sits her daughter down to talk.
"Honey, you're an adult now. I trust you to make your own decisions, you don't need to sneak around you own home."
Cora was relieved. "Mom, I have something to tell you. We are engaged."
Sally took a deep breath, choosing to believe what she had just said, "I'm happy for you, I want to get to know him better."
Cora calls Dawn out of his hiding spot in her bedroom, and Sally offers him dinner. They talk, and get along quite well.
Sunday morning, they wake up and say goodbye. Cora applies for the military.
She gets accepted, but before her first day in her dream career, she works a shift at the gym as a favor for her mom. Little does she know, her mom is asking because she is thinking about giving the gym to her as a wedding gift.

Does anyone know why Cora is so obsessed with Cecil Merph? She just keeps talking about how much she loves her; I mean like, me too girl, but cut it out, you are a child. She started talking about Cecil, not Ethan.
Cora gave Francis another shot. (Maybe because I forgot I didn't want these two to keep seeing each other, maybe because I believe in giving love a chance. Who really knows?) And it did not work out.
Despite her sassy childhood, Cora is really turning out to be a good student, and a happy teen.
Business is going so well that Sally hardly works, and when she does she is wearing her pajamas. Good for her.
Ethan came home from school with Cora, and after Cora finished her homework, Gloria showed up! Sorry Ethan, no one will be paying attention to you.
Can y'all not do that in the bathroom? Like I am glad you are hitting it off, but this is just weird. I mean, I think Cora is only really into Gloria because she is Cecil's daughter, but we don't need to dissect that right now.
Gloria has that infamous Merph flu still, btw. Cora caught it too, but at least they are girlfriends now!
Awh, They didn't totally ignore Ethan!
I totally forgot these two are besties, which is extra cute. I like to think they are joking about young love. I wonder what happened to Cora's dad?
She ended up asking her mom if she could go shopping with Gloria instead of her. Young love is so fickle.
The one condition of Cora going without her mom was that she show off what she got once she got home, which ended up being a dress and a pair of shorts. Forgive the walls down screen shots.
Seems I waited too long to buy Cora new clothes, and the camo pants got to her.
Don't rag on Sally, she gained some charisma skill today and she is the first person in this town to actually turn a profit from their business.
Cecil just showed up at Pineview Pets to mog on everyone, I love her. Everyone loves the Merphs.
Anyways, it's Saturday, you know what that means?
Free teen labor, which means more TV time for Sally.
"It's not child abuse, it's character building!"
Alright, whatever you say, Sally.
Sunday means date day, yes for both of them this time.
Sally goes first, bold as always, off to the park looking for someone who wants a MILF in their PJs.
She has no success, but at least she has fun playing in the puddles.
Cora goes second because she had to sleep in after getting the flu, again, after sneaking out with Gloria.
I'm genuinely just praying they will fall in love this whole date because if they don't I have to accept she is truly meant to be with Gloria's brother. It didn't happen on this date, so we only have three more days to make it happen.
Just realized I didn't take any screenshots for Amin, but he was busy. He's been working full time at his job as an executive chef, and running the only restaurant in town. So far he is losing a bunch of money by offering his high quality food as cheap as possible, hopefully this publicity stunt will work.
Merph Family
The Merph's finally got their daughter, baby Gloria! It was just in time too. Well, at least in time for Henry, Cecil is still barely aging, and certainly doesn't look like she's had six children
Time really does fly, it was also the older twins' last week at home.
Charlie has also taken Bennet's place in dotting over his younger siblings.
Having a kids in the sims 2 is so much chaos, but I think the adorable animations make it worth it.
Adam-Rue Family
Speaking of which, I am playing by my normal self imposed gameplay rules for when a couple tries for a baby. Every time that at least one parent has a want to have a baby/have ten children and neither has a fear of having children, they will try for a baby. If either criteria aren't met, they won't.
So playing with family sims can be a bit of a nightmare. Sandy had three babies this week. Singleton baby girl Hilary, and twins Ian and Isabelle. This woman is incredible.
The Stewart Family
At first, it seemed like Sally's plan to move out somewhere peaceful to help her daughter really wasn't going to work.
The pet store was struggling, Cora was ignoring her homework, arguing with her mom, ghosts were haunting them, and Sally wasn't getting along with her neighbours.
Until a letter gets sent home from school with Cora, social services are offering their services to the clearly struggling family. Overnight, the two solve their differences. By the end of the week, Cora is caught up on homework and the two are best friends. Everything else seems to fall in place too. She is able to hire an employee and expand the pet store as it grows more popular and profitable.
Next week, The oldest Merph boys start their own households, three new households move into town,
the town of Pineview finally builds a cemetery, and the county grants Pineview the rights to the nearby abandoned subdivision to make a new business district.
This land is zoned for medium density development. duplexes and mixed use home businesses can be built here.
