For a few seconds Luffy's eyes had drifted away from Law's, and of course that had to be the moment everything kicked off, when someone or something swooped in on his blind spot and jabbed hard at him. He felt it radiate outward, quaking through his body at first until he went down in a sudden heap, legs too weak to keep himself up any longer, teeth grit to hold back a searing yell of pain—more from the sudden lack of breath inside his chest than the actual damage.

04: Whatdefines your artistic style?

lines. rough,dark, sketchy lines. where it could have been one long smooth line, it’s usuallyseveral shorter ones often on top of each other instead. it’s more on the cartoonyside than realistic.

08: Whatis your favourite piece that you have done?

going backwards through this tumblr, there’s several things I really like, but theone I still like best of what I’ve done so far is this comic. (warning, somecreepy things are implied here) art-vise, half a year later, I see things Iwould have drawn a bit better if I drew this now, but I feel like I managed tomake this scene work, and I really like the way I drew several things. this onetook a lot of time and got lots of tinkering and redrawing of storyboards in mysketchbook, I left it and then much later I came back to it, and then lots oftime was spent drawing it digitally. (page 3 took me so. long. to do) not longafter I had made the first draft, I found one comic and one doujinshi about thesame type of thing. that’s the first reason I left it, because I thought: ‘damn,someone’s already done this kind of thing, what if they think I’ve copied them?’.and when the flashback finished, I thought 'no, this can’t fit in a canontimeline’, so I just left it in my sketchbook and didn’t do anything more.

… but finally I went 'who cares about canon timelines’and 'so what if a thing has been done, only I will do it MY way’, and finishedthe damn comic.

Runner up:this picture (warning, this picture contains blood … I drew this shortly afterLaw got his arm cut off) I’m really satisfied with this one, the pose and theexpressions, it’s almost exactly what I wanted it to be. I drew it really fasttoo, had a very good drawing day.

14: Whatdo you like drawing the most?

characters.I like making scenes in pictures and comics. and as you can see in my gallery, Ilike drawing my OTP. ^^

15: Whatdo you like drawing the least?

backgrounds.it’s much more fun to draw people than buildings and landscapes. specifically toOP-fandom, that includes ships. I love the ships in One Piece Meeeeerryyyyyyydon’t gooooo but all the details and straight lines … not so fun to do.
