Happy Friday everyone!

Since we're all staying at home more these days, it makes it easier to withstand the 100+ degree temperatures. With temperatures cooling a bit over the next week, our backyard BBQ's are still a possibility! Hang in there Tucson, the monsoons will soon be coming we hope. Make sure to stay up to date with the most recent news from the Office of the Governor.

The local Real Estate market remains hectic as the lack of inventory makes it challenging for home buyers across most price ranges. If you know someone who needs advice or help, please let us know. Stay safe everyone.

The Cactus Drive in (or Carpool Cinema if you prefer) is showing Disney's 'Coco' this Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

The blockbuster Garth Brooks live stream concert will play at most all of the outdoor drive-in venues tomorrow night. Hopefully, you ordered your tickets last weekend. Prepare for traffic snarls at all venues including Pima County Fairgrounds.

 If you live in or near the Catalinas on the Tucson side or Pusch Ridge on the Oro side, please go to the Pima County Emergency Management website and sign up for an account. You will receive notifications regarding the Bighorn Fire and any emergency evacuation information that might affect you. You can see the Ready, Set, Go zoning maps here. Know where you're at and what zone you're located in. Keep the firefighters in your thoughts as they risk their lives in this blistering heat to protect us.

With a high temperature of 108 degrees today, stay indoors if at all possible. If you must go out, take water, wear a hat, wear sunscreen. Do not take your pets outdoors for any extended period of time. Welcome to Summer in Tucson!

If you and 9 of your friends went to the movies on a Friday night, how much would you spend? Yes, quite a bit. Why not rent an entire theater instead. Groups of 10 can rent one of the 3 theater rooms at Loft for $100/hour. 

Remember the days of drive in movies? They're still around. Except now its El Toro Cinema Carpool Experience. Two locations, Downtown Tucson and Oro. Tonight it's the original Rocky or High School Musical. Pack the car!

Put on your Blue Suede shoes, hop in your hot rod and catch both Elvis and Marilyn Monroe, performing live at Little Anthony's from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Well we can't go this weekend but members can return to the Sonoran Desert Museum which reopens on Monday for members and for the general public on Tuesday. Tickets must be purchased in advance and of course safety guidelines are in place.

Pima Air and Space Museum plans to reopen its doors this coming Monday. As we see more activities returning keep safety first and foremost in mind.
