Before Yuuka arrived with any of her friends he’d make sure that a buffet was prepared for her and then finally a two tiered cake was waiting in the kitchen for the right moment. 

Tanjiro was by no means weak. With all the training he’d gone through, that was certain. But still, today his two bags of groceries felt like two anchors in his hands. He was on his way home after working all day repairing an old woman’s roof when he realized that the cobwebs in the pantry probably wouldn’t be enough to make a meal for him and Nezuko. After stopping by the store, he trudged down the street, fueled by the thought of going home to see his little sister. Or, at least, that was his plan. Stopping in his tracks, Tanjiro sniffed the air again, deliberately this time. Sure enough, there was a faint trace of...blood? Suddenly alert, Tanjiro raced down the street and around the corner, following the scent. He was now very aware of the sword on his hip and began to prepare himself for a fight when he turned another corner and saw- A...something. Tanjiro was fairly certain it was a human that was...wearing a boar mask? The sight was so odd that for a second Tanjiro didn’t notice the stranger banging his head repeatedly on the side of a building. “Stop! Are you okay? You’re hurting yourself!”
