Hastings pier on fire. c.1900s. Real photo postcard. Now we live in St Leonard’s on Sea, I’ve found a few photographs of the local area which show the drama of that’s happened around the now quiet streets. I love the action of this, the women running on the left adds to the drama… a real paused moment.
