My friends and I decided to see the changing of the guard, but we had no clue what we were in for. After waiting for about an hour, we heard some commotion that the Queen had left Buckingham and literally drove right past us. We made nothing of it though. However, just a short half hour later, there she was! She rolled up in her Royce (in style, might I add) as any queen should. The moment was a complete surprise, and you could just feel a collective gasp for breath from the entire crowd. Utter shock was the major feeling that I could describe. After that amazing moment, nothing could really compare. BUT, we went to go see Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and Parliament one last time. Get this, we actually got to go inside the House of Commons and listen to live debates! It was so amazing. We rounded out the day with a Pie and Pint! So very British, hehe.
