If there is something we should never stop doing, it's to never stop learning from others. • Penang International Dragon Boat Festival with @team_ironwill has been nothing short of amazing and lovable experience. Although I only had the chance to train with them for 2 sessions, their camaraderie and spirit are definitely something to look up to. I was most stunned on the boat during my first training when their steers issued a command mid-set, and EVERYONE, except for me (coz imma scrub), responded loud and clear with a "READY!". If I had not been ready, after hearing that echo, I definitely was. • It was a tremendous learning experience paddling with a crew I'd never paddled before. Their openness and friendliness also make you feel like home in no time. • Thank you @team_ironwill for this opportunity to witness and enjoy this trip and race. May we meet again in the future. A long, hot, wet, and sweaty weekend just ended with the Penang International Dragon Boat Festival. It was a great chance to witness great teams from Asia and other countries compete at an international stage. Getting rekt by teams from Penang, Phillipines, China, and the likes of Thailand, which were leading everyone by half a boat 20 strokes into the race.... is all part of the learning experience. Learning from other teams, learning your own abilities.
