This is where I'm currently at with the song! Watch my tiny hands go
Piano update, because yes I'm still playing! I've made a playlist for songs I either already know or have on my "to learn" list:
I've also got entirely too many music books checked out from the library right now. My goal this weekend is to go through them and earmark the ones I want to photo copy and learn.
So, yeah. Progress continues!
Damn near forgot I know how to play this:
so I've added the next part to this, I've been practicing for a few hours and tbh im struggling TT TT
I keep forgetting the notes even to the section im comfortable with so you can see me slow down trying to remember, esp in the new section, idk sheet music so I've been playing by memory so now that im learning more parts my playing is a bit all over the place, I'm gonna keep practicing tmr since my wrists are killing me
I also just can't seem to figure out the added section. compared to listening to the song 'memory from ib' it sounds very off which I think part of that is bc if how slow im playing

Saturday, April 2
I don’t work on Saturdays so this is a very small update. I just wanted to write down the pieces I played today so I have a complete documentation at the end of the month.
Melodies of Music Month
Senneville: Ballade pour Adeline (piano)
Senneville / Toussaint: Dolannes Melodie (piano)
Pachelbel: Canon in D (piano)
Yes, most of the pieces are the same as yesterday but apparently that’s how you practice (I’m kidding, I know how practice works - my flighty brain is just not very good at it).
I really enjoy getting more in touch with classical music at the moment (youtube made me do it). I know that I must have played a few classical pieces but it’s been so long (and some of those memories are basically STRESS IN B MAJOR) so I barely remember what pieces we played. The one I will never forget is Grieg’s In der Halle des Bergkönigs, simply because that one fucking rocks when all the instruments start coming together. Being part of that was pretty cool.
