I had a tidbit about @screwzara 's Absence AU, and I had to add Pian to this story.
Amato promised to Pian that he will come back after an Urgent mission. Later, He waited for his friends to arrive, but they never came.
He equipped his Maskmana Suit, and travelled to the Place where the mission had taken place.
After finding his friend's body, he was devastated that he couldn't wake up. After a while, he went to Boboiboy and tried to tell him that Amato was on a long business trip, but Mechabot told him the truth earlier, so Boboiboy was down.
He missed Amato. Ever since he left Kota Hilir and left this world, Pian felt empty, with tears in his eyes every time he was alone, and he had to keep the faces so no one else knew of his pain. The clients he worked with noticed his quietness, fatigue, and random lack of concentration.
He promised himself that he would raise Boboiboy with Mechabot, though it won't be easy. He visited Boboiboy sometimes, making sure that every memory spent with his son was more memorable.
When he returned to his home, he coiled himself in bed. He remembered the times he spent with Amato, and He later became distant when his friend spent more time with Mara.
All the money in the world meant nothing without him.
