i know how that feels. i hope you get more comfort and privacy soon!!
I’m going to camp in a few days which is always 100% relief from all home stuff, so at least I have that to look forward to. thank you~

!! good luck, this is my finals week too!!
thank you!! good luck to you too!

well, i think it’s just a natural part of growing up and being independent. I used to like my friends’ favorite colors and tv shows as well. and i know when my little sister was young she totally got into every single fandom that i was in/
yeah I mean to some extent I think yes? but a lot of the things I didn't actually like beyond a 'yeah this is okay' but I'd say I did and then not leave myself any room to figure out what I liked and I think if I'd been given a little more space and a little more time on each thing I could have figured out what I liked instead of just going along with what my friends were saying
(because like? they certainly had their own opinions. so why didn't I? oh that's right because I was too busy agreeing with them)

"I’m sorry, my family wants to see that movie with me. Anyways, I am busy for the next couple weeks." (idk. you shouldn’t go if you don’t want to. it’s okay to say no.)
…I just feel like that's a cheap excuse because I think I've seen both of the first two movies with both these people and my family…
I can probably get away with saying my schedule for the next few weeks is erratic/unpredictable and they shouldn't let me make their moviegoing plans difficult, though. So thanks~

i-write-and-tumbl-and-stuff replied to your post:how do I say “I am busy all that day and don’t...
"I am busy and have other plans."
the thing is, their plan isn't set in stone yet– it's still in the "we're thinking of going this day" stage instead of "we are going this day at this time" so I'm worried they'll try to reschedule so that I can come :/
and I keep thinking "if they do that maybe I should just go?" but then I keep remembering that 1. I will be varying degrees of miserable for ~4 hours and 2. I will see the movie at some point with my family and it might be nice to not see it the first time with these people and 3. I am not sure how former friend would feel about me being there and while I could mostly deal with my discomfort I don't want to cause her any
so I'm just hoping they decide to go that day anyway? because it is true that I'm doing things pretty much all through that day so I genuinely can't come I just hope they're thinking of it in terms of inviting me rather than me being part of the main party
i-write-and-tumbl-and-stuff replied to your post:frick there’s homework due tonight
you can do it!
yeah I just don't want to
it's easy stuff though, because this chapter is based off of stuff I learned in geometry– which I took twice– and I understand geometry so much better than I understand other math

You’re super sweet, not to mention a talented writer, and enjoy many of the same books/movies/shows that I adore (which is rad).
