New photographers are typically vexed by dappled light through trees. They either ignore it or attempt to blow it with a secondary light source. The former makes your subject into a leopard with hot spots; the latter makes the subject very detached from the darker background. A better solution is diffusion and reflection from a building or reflector. It's always good practice to pre visualize your image. Once in awhile, even before you touch your camera, try to compose an image in your head. Think creatively about what's in the frame, what the subjective is, the kind of lighting. Having an idea about what you're image should look like or what you want it to look like will help you get to the final presentation.

i tried looking online to see if there is a specific way i need to export my photos from lightroom so that they can be uploaded to tumblr and i found and article but the image quality is still pretty shitty, but honestly i give up and im just going to use the setting that let me upload them. hope you enjoy my photography and if you have any advice on export setting please send me a message, it would be greatly appreciated.
