I’m sick of this generations irrational fear of phone-calls.

Phone-Call || Haaken&Bryanna

Phone-call to Ava.
Mason fiddled with his cellphone as he sat outside of the hospital, a five-minute break that had stretched to fifteen. His contact list was up, his thumb nearly pressing the name of his girlfriend. Though, he hesitated. Contemplated a little over what he'd say. What he wanted to say. Or rather; how much he wanted to say. "That day" of the year was coming up in less than two days, and "that day" always meant he'd be traveling out of Emerald Cove and back all the way to his hometown. Only this year, it looked like he was traveling alone. Finally, he pressed her name and called her up; and smiled, as he heard her voice on the other end in a greeting that told him she'd checked to see who called. "Hi, honey," Mason started, his smile fading more and more against the phone. "I, uh... I'm going out of town for a few days. Maybe four, at the most. It depends on how things work out. I'll be leaving tomorrow, but I should be back by Saturday at the very least. And before you ask -- I'm fine. Everything's fine." Mason smiled against the phone, spoke warmly to the woman he loved. But he still felt that creeping sadness that was to overwhelm him for a few days already sneak up on him. Â
gooodnight :3
...I'm listening to my boyfriend snore over the phone♥♥♥ (I had to mute it so I wouldn't wake him up by laughing so hard) >:3
