#phobos cabin

wow well I feel like this hc could be very depressing but iNSTEAD…………….

hades’ and phobos’ kids are so EXCITABLE around each other (heretofore referred to as H and P because who tf has time to type out the names of the gods erry time, not me)

we all saw how Nico used to be such a happy-go-lucky nerdy little kid before Life happened

well, that’s how H and P are around each other

they just excite each other so much

their interests overlap in almost every area

they both like that game Mythomagic and they have legit tournaments at camp

sometimes people gather around to watch

they’re not that competitive though they just really like playing

sometimes H or P will get upset at their respective dads because sometimes they can be dicks (especially Phobos, man, I know he’s got a job but what a helluva job)

and whenever this happens the other one is there with cookie dough ice cream smuggled into camp by someone from the Hermes cabin and big hugs and a deck of cards to play BS or something

also, H really likes flowers

it’s kind of their way of rebelling against Hades’ nature of killing everything, they love flowers

so P brings them flowers every time they see any kind of flowers anywhere

(you don’t find flowers a lot in new york so P pretends they picked them when they really just bought them from a flower shop. but H always lights up at the gesture)

there is so much platonic love between these two

they go stargazing sometimes and teach each other the constellations

they read books out loud to each other

they’re the cutest pair of kids ever honestly

(Percy: “Bro, why isn’t our friendship like that?” Jason: “Because I’m too cool for that.”

Percy: “And I’m not?”

the Phobos and Deimos cabins are joined by an underground cavern that opens up into a temple like the one in Sparta 

they coordinate horror movie nights at camp 

they team up with the Deimos cabin to make a haunted house every year 

many of them also have the ability to show someone their biggest fear but have a strict code on only doing it to people who want to face their fears or in dire circumstances
