Adela finally clawed her way onto a FCO to me! There are some flaws with this shot, mainly with the missing arm and unlike Sarah, the shot doesn’t scream dance but I love the shot regardless because of her face! I like the hidden motion of movement here, with her arms grabbing onto the dress, it adds some movement to an otherwise chaotic shot with all the people dancing around her. However, her face is just stunning here! Her makeover was perfect, it’s wild but still highlights her amazing face and she made sure that the hair shined here. The chaotic evil look in her one eye piercing into the camera and the devilish delight in her face is gorgeous! Adela gets her first FCO (but not her last) out of me after 2 weeks of being in the top 2. 

As a dance shot, Sarah’s is the closest to it and reasonably should’ve been my FCO. However, fuck you, this is my show! Still, I’m super proud that Sarah was able to get this shot in the first place as this all seems like perfect timing. The flowy nature of the shot is amazing. The movement of the dress and the delicate way she moved her legs away from the group gives the shot a very ballet vibe to it. I like how she kept it simple yet kept up with the energy of the set, she didn’t go over the top or went all in like Adela, she kept it chic. Her face is also gorgeous. I adore the soft calmness of it, especially the doe like eyes and her bone structure. Sarah should’ve gotten the FCO reasonably but I’m happy to see her grow!

Jan’s shot is basically “pain in the back but make it fashion” via Sneha AsNTM C2 but unlike Sneha, I like the shot! She does look like she pulled a hamstring while doing the pose but unlike Sneha, there’s a lot of energy into the pose. The angle she pulled herself into by showing off her arms is a nice touch.  The lift of her foot off the ground makes her shot more airy and the twist of the dress looks great. Her face does have some flaws though. I’m not the biggest fan of the snarl on her face. Her face also comes off as pretty tense as well but the angle of her face looks nice. Even with the flaws of the shot, Jan still looks very beautiful here and even if it is a flawed shot, it’s still one of my personal favorites. Jan’s elimination was frankly bullshit. She was one of the strongest at that point with a FCO from the judges, yet they seemed to lose all love for her. She was by far the most robbed girl of the cycle.

Blaise embodied the movement and dancing theme of the shoot the most out of anyone. However, there are some obvious flaws of the shot that does drag it down for me. Mainly, it’s the oddly angled arms and how much they look like a chicken wing here. However, the energy of this shot is pretty awesome! I adore the twist of her body and how she worked with the group around her instead of trying to stand out. Her face is also stunning here! She pulled off the twisted shoulder pose well and the shocked expression on her face works a lot for this type of shot. The subtle motion of “oh no, you caught me!” in her face is beautiful. Blaise’s FCO was surprising but not undeserved, even if there are 3 other shots I like more.

Ina’s only this high because of how beautiful she looks here. I adore the seductive look in her face and her bone structure in general (the jawline!). Like said before and will again, Ina is a stunning girl and it would be hard to make herself look bad in a photo. I also adore the afro they gave her to wear, it creates a nice symmetry to the shot (it also reminds me of this shot from Aya Jones). Her pose is pretty basic though. She stretched herself out pretty well and her body looks fantastic on the dress. I don’t know if I can put it any higher because it doesn’t fit the theme at all but it’s a great photo nonetheless. 

Unlike most, I do like the more commercial approach that Angela went for. Her smile is just infectious! Her smile doesn’t consume her face and the lift of her head is pretty nice. It just overall feels natural and safe, not overdone and overbooked unlike most attempts at a smile shot. However, her pose is pretty bad. She pulled herself down so she looks more shorter than she actually is. Alongside that, the hands in the middle of the legs is pretty damn awkward. I don’t like the lighting of the shot as well, but that isn’t her fault, it made her a lot taner than she actually was and older. Angela had a fine shot but things are not looking good for her considering how she’s been sitting near the bottom for 3 weeks now.

My biggest problem with Janny’s shot is how boring it is. It’s fine but seems stiff. The hand on the head looks awkward and the overall pose is just boring. She obviously looks good (her face can do no wrong really) but there’s not much to remember for this shot, it’s boring at best and forgettable at worst. I also blame the lighting once again because her face looks way bigger than it actually is (then again, straight on isn’t the best angle for Janny). It’s a down step from Janny’s rapid improvement but it won’t last long.

Like Janny’s shot, my problem with it is how awkward it is. Ann didn’t really go with the theme at all, her pose lacks a lot of energy and style to it. I wish she went for a bit of a risk or at least tried some sort of movement instead of doing some 101 model pose (I excuse Ina for this reason because at least it looked like she’s about to do a pose). Her pose also has a ridged feeling to it as well, as if she’s holding up all the tension to her waist up. Her face is actually decent though. I like the subtle confidence of it and for once, her bone structure really shines here. Ann’s B2 makes a lot of sense and if things went my way, she would’ve been eliminated. Her potential was pretty limited and her lack of experience showed in all 3 photos shown.
