i dont know why but to me starmie is one of the hottest pokemon. i think it's how mysterious it is: alien, psychic, and an echinoderm, sonething with anatomy so different from our own that it feels alien even on earth. the idea of someone having such a close relationship with their starmie that they love them more than any other human, that despite their incompatible biology they find ways to be intimate. ugh
i just imagine sitting bottomless on top of it with your knees splayed to the side. grinding on its cool, smooth gem while it glows softly, purring as it caresses you with its psychic power. you hold onto its legs while you ride its 'face,' and it shivers and whirs when your fingers graze the parts where its front and back sets of legs meet.
its gem isn't really a face, and it doesn't have anything really resembling one, but you're so entangled with it that you know every one of its 'expressions.' it's the way its gem glows, the way it moves and twirls. you know what it's thinking. there's so much you can't do with it that you could do with a human, but that's okay. the few creative things that you can enjoy with your darling starmie are enough.
