Beadweaving on a loom was my first introduction to making jewelry. I could spend hours designing patterns and string beads. When I found my old loom I decided to try some new designs. This choker necklace features an asymmetric chevron pattern I designed. The chevrons follow a random pattern of purple, blue, and white with a single row of silver beads separating them. The pattern is woven between greek leather cords for stability with a pale blue silk thread. At each end is a deer hide leather cap sewn on by hand and finished with an easy to use 925 sterling silver hook clasp. The finished length of the choker is 14-inches but it can be adjusted up to 17 inches with the help of a 3-inch extender chain.
