Hi I'm Claire and 'Fluffhead Threads' is my latest passion project. You may have seen some of the designs on my other Party Clothing shop Rudy Ludy on Etsy. Fluffhead Threads is a new brand focused on music-inspired clothing and accessories. Mostly inspired by the band Phish, hence the name 'Fluffhead Threads', 'Fluffhead' is one of their songs. I moved to the States from England a few years before Phish came back in 2009, so am a relative newbie compared to my husband and friends who've been seeing them since the 90's. One of the most memorable first shows I saw was at Red Rocks in Colorado. When 'Fluffhead' came on I listened to the lyrics properly for the first time and laughed and laughed and laughed. With glow sticks flying everywhere around this stunning venue had I ever had so much fun in my life?! It was my first 'favorite' Phish song now there are many others but this one holds a special place in my heart. This photo is me and my girl Heather (she is wearing the awesome glitter shades) at that concert. I love designing clothing to wear on tour and accessories to give as gifts. I use an external Direct-To-Garment service for most of the items on this website, as this allows me to offer more style options and print more complex designs. However, I do still make hand made items using materials such as Foil, Glitter and Holographic Heat Transfer Vinyl as well as one-off tie-dye creations.
