In your humble opinion, what makes Pearl crazy about Rusty? And vice versa?

Okay so, here's my thoughts. For Pearl, there is definitely that initial infatuation of "He's very different from the other rolling stock and that is very attractive". Like I'm right there with you girl, there is something about steam engines that is sexy (visible thrusting pistons), and I think Pearl has got a Type. But! Pearl's arc is about maturing and making sound decisions. So I think the infatuation turns into a love for Rusty's steadfastness? As a person?? (I mean during the action of the musical, he's kind of all over the place, but he's going through alot so I get it king.) Being with Electra and Greaseball for longer than 10 minutes made her really appreciate Rusty actually being an adult.

As for Rusty, on a sadder note, Pearl is everything he's not. She's clean, new, and confident. She's fearless, unburdened by the inherent trauma that life gives you. And man, does that get Rusty's proverbial blood pumping. Like I think there's been other little romances here and there for him, but Pearl is on another level, methinks. Pearl may have been crushing a little before him, but when the attraction finally hit Rusty, it hit him hard. (professional yearner frrrr) She made him feel like he was a part of the world again. Made him feel like he could do anything.

Basically, in summary, they are exactly what the other person needs.

I don't have any plans at the moment! I'm actually focusing on a lot of panfandom events at the moment (WIP Big Bang, Fandom Trumps Hate, Unconventional Courtship, and several others). But I have also pulled events out of my ass with less planning in the past, so who knows!

Aww, thank you so much for this wonderful feedback! I don't know if either of us will ever be 'done' with GaaLee. @puregaalee has been in the fandom for at least 15 years, and I'm not that far behind (with a few years' downtime). But your acknowledgement of the work that goes into these events is so appreciated!! It's a labor of love, for sure.

This answer may not be the kind you're looking for, and it's very brief as I am in middle of my university work (scolding my team for leaving things to the last minute) and trying hard to make sure that my brain doesn't explode.

Donquixote actors are actually pretty well liked people, though sadly many of the fans struggle to understand that the actors are not the same as their characters, Doflamingo himself gets frequently hate mail from some of the fans. He doesn't think too much about it since they're addressed to the character and not him. There are of course few oddities in this group that may or may not be interested in being separated from the rest of the actors:

While Baby 5, Trebol, Diamanté, and the rest of the named highrank actors mingle with the rest of the actors, Monet and Vergo/Corazon like to keep their distance and are often seen together both in and outside the set.

That's a great question! Honestly, the first half of the year has felt so "meh" for me and I still really feel like I'm trying to get my spark back. If I was going to do something I think it would have to be fairly low key, like a ship week, that doesn't involve too much planning or logistics on my part.

If I was gonna run another event I'd probably be looking at doing it sometime in fall. Bingo was in October last year and had amazing participation, so that might be an option.
