If you could be instantly fluent in one other language, which would it be?

Without question, I would pick Korean.  I know a bit, but not enough after two full years of study in college and growing up with Korean mom.  If I could just pick it up that easily, I'd be so happy - and I'd almost definitely be living in Korea.

It’s bad in two ways - most importantly is the “what the heck am I watching” part, but to be fair, it’s easy to pretend this isn’t where the series is headed until the very, very end of the run.  Many earlier episode reviews I’d read were by people convinced that the series wasn’t headed in that uncomfortable direction.  I might’ve been, too, if I hadn’t known better.

The other part is that the quality is up and down.  The characters are amazing and super memorable - a number are among my list of very favorites.  The voice acting is grade A.  And some episodes are remarkably good.  But sometimes the story gets really loose and the quality wanes, and because sometimes the series is amazing, it makes these episodes and portions of episodes stand out all the more.

As a teenager, who is someone famous you had a crush on?

When I was a teenager, long long ago, I had a huge crush on Meg Ryan!  Here are your answers:

If you had one "do over" in your life, what would it be and how would you do it differently?

I love this question, because it reminds me of a poignant scene in one my favorite movies, City Slickers, in which the main characters are discussing the same thing.  For me, I think I would have invested more or less in some relationships.

What was your favorite bedtime story as a child?

Maybe like many of you, I wasn't read bedtime stories as a child.  But I do remember reading Judy Blume books like crazy, particularly Super Fudge and Fudge-a-mania.
