We were saddened to learn, very belatedly, that Heavy Metal contributor Philippe Adamov has died. It happened on February 3. Adamov, a master of linework and detailed architecture whom some considered an heir to Moebius (we’d agree), was just 63. His masterpiece was The Waters of Deadmoon (Les Eaux de Mortelune), which we serialized over five issues in the early ‘90s.
