Simon gazed up to take in the full scope of the skyscrapers that pierced the sky. Redundant, considering the city itself accomplished that at conception - though ambition didn’t exactly have an end goal in mind. Honestly, that was the only apt description Simon could give this floating city he found himself in: ambitious. The technology around him was centuries ahead of his own. He thrown for a loop initially (being stranded in some kind of survival scenario didn’t help that much), but brushing up against the clouds had its own ethereal charm. If there were a ticket off the flying magnet, he might’ve considering taking in the altitude.

Even his brief reprieve to daydream was time ill spent. Being out in the moment welcomed discomfort thus, with his feathered cohort firmly perched on his shoulders, he paced ahead. Taka’s head jerked around, surveying all corners, before a familiar flash of white hair caught his sharp vision. The bird had definitely seen her before, no mistaking it. A loud screech caused a jolt in Simon’s system. He quickly turned to survey the threat only to find some harmless-looking girl to be the cause of the commotion.
