Phi Phi

She loved the guy. She did it for him. She would've done anything for him. Some people are like that. Most loves are like that, from what I can see. Your heart starts to feel like an overcrowded lifeboat. You throw your pride out to keep it afloat, and your self-respect and your independence. After a while you start throwing people out - your friends, everyone you used to know. And it's still not enough. The lifeboat is still sinking, and you know it's going to take you down with it. I've seen that happen to a lot of people here. I think that's why I'm sick of love.

We took a mini bus and a ferry to get from Patong to Koh Phi Phi. A great place to wander around at night, streets lined with bars and the beach brimming with fire-breathers and candle lit sitting areas. You can do Phi Phi hard or soft, your call, we took the relaxed choices... Apart from participating in some muay thai at reggae bar.. If you fancy trekking to a nice remote beach, theres a fantastic down jungle trek from the mountain top to beach, to Toh Koh beach, head to a view point and follow the signs, bring mozzy spray! I think everyone else got there by longboat - no cars or scooters were on the island (kind of). Oh, i'm also a big fish fan these days, went to this restaurant two days straight!
