Narrative arc: survival. One day, one month, one year at a time. This story is one of survival against a multitude of trials that cnanot be directly overcome by their nature, but can be weathered and outlasted. Through this survival is the collection of moments like a scrapbook, which in time will paint a mural of hope and will be treasured as a reminder as to why we endure.
Aesthetic: Bright green leaves, wooden things, old books. In particular, I think of self-made books with neat binding and wooden cabinets passed down for generations even though I don’t know if you have any wooden cabinets passed down for generations. But “living” things like furniture and stoves and windows and curtains, as well as Living things like trees and grass and grasshoppers
Dynamic with me: I feel like I could explain it better in person than through text because a lot of our communication is body language and tone, but I think that also describes our dynamic a bit. We have different life experiences in many ways but I feel like we’ve been the source of each other’s self-reflection on multiple occasions. I think the biggest thing we have in common is our sense of responsibility but I can’t... articulate how.
