#phase plug

Another major upgrade after 3 years of usage is the phase plug in my Fostex FE206En

I always wondered about the modified speaker from the Decware site here.

With the 3D printer at home and a bit of drawing skills i managed to draw two versions. The smaller version is the closest to the Decware design and the best sounding one.

It made the well known “midrange shout” dissapear ( more balanced sound now ) with the highs really detailed instead of saturated before with wooden phase plug.

Phase plug for my drivers is in the making... slowly getting there

difference now is even bigger compared to improvised phase plugs i had installed earlier.

So here it is... the "phase plug" mod :D currently testing out but it eliminates harshness... adds more dynamics... all in all it adds quite a lot of detail in every aspect
