Back in 2016, when I deleted my account, there was this charming little liar who stole my commission money (yes, actually), Then they spent an entire year doing the most unhinged side quest imaginable: making multiple accounts, pretending to be different ppl, and sending me blackmail-y, troll nonsense—apparently because I was busy going to local musicals instead of reading their novel they were writing. Because, you know, having their life is optional.

It was actually affecting my real life. The messages were like, ‘I’m a fan of that fanfic, so why did you stop updating it? Why aren’t you drawing fan art for it anymore? Stop talking about musicals from your country,’ and stuff like that lol. Lik...what possible reason would ‘a fan of that amazing story’ have to come after me—someone who has literally nothing to do with it? lol”

Anyway, I recently learned they’ve been running around for years spreading this hilarious fanfic-level rumor that I was their fan. and gave art for free.

So apparently this person’s been following every “where’s Phanwolf?” post just to lie in the replies. Like… they even went back to a post from 2016 and dropped their nonsense in 2019. this liar telling a nightmare(and yeah the black mail story is straight up fiction) that much they’re literally searching for me? That’s commitment.

They didn’t 'get free art because I was a fan.' They fed me a tragic little story about their dad 'losing his job,' and I—against my better judgment—got baited into letting them postpone paying for the commission. And yeah: I still haven’t been paid to this day.

Spoiler: the sob story was a lie. lol

LOOK AT THE SUBJECT LINE THAT IDIOT POSTED AS 'EVIDENCE.' IF YOU GENUINELY THINK THAT LOOKS LIKE A 'FAN-TO-ARTIST COLLABORATION BASED ON PURE ADMIRATION,' YOU ARE BEYOND HELP. IT LITERALLY SCREAMS 'COMMISSION' TO ANYONE WITH MORE THAN TWO NEURONS RUBBING TOGETHER.

So no, this wasn’t some cute fan-artist moment. It was just a regular scam wrapped in main-character syndrome and zero substance.

'Phanwolf was a fan of a ship of my novel’—nah? that’s fanfic they wrote in their head. The only ship I board is the one CARRYING MONEY.

I do “fanservice” when I’m being friendly. That doesn’t make me anyone’s fan. And no— THEY'RE NOT THAT LEVEL APPERNTLY. Don’t get carried away. 😂

Iconic. Delusional. 0/10 for plot consistency. Character analysis: FAILED.

And here’s the best part: that “rumor” wasn’t even organic—they literally built it by chopping up my words / my email, cropping out all the context (especially the part where I’m like “pay me what you owe”), and parading the mangled snippet around like it was some kind of proof. Congrats on inventing a narrative via screenshot scissors. Why would they crop out the cute puppy pics I sent right after “please hope your soul get better withe these cuties. ^^”? LMAO

If you run the text through Papago, you’ll see it references THEIR MULTIPE ACCOUNTS(=various IDs) and HARASSMENT —funny how that part never makes it into the narrative. So yeah! —when a human trash bag pulls that kind of stunt, I’ve earned the right to call them a "sibal-nyeon".

Honestly, I want to tell them: "YOU COULDN’T EVEN COME UP WITH $100, SO YOU THREW YOUR OWN DAD UNDER THE BUS. GO AHEAD—LET YOUR DAD SEE IT. SHOW HIM THE EXACT MESSAGE WHERE I CALLED YOU ‘SIBAL-NYEON,’ AND THIS POST TOO. IF YOURE GOING TO CRY ABOUT IT, YOU CAN CRY LOUDER."

If anybody think this is wrong, then don’t take a pension in the future—and don’t ever accept a single cent as payment for your labor either. LOL. Honestly, if you bought that rumor, I’m filing you under “two-digit IQ behavior.” BE SERIOUS. USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. DO YOU HONESTLY THINK ME—THE PERSON WHO LOVES MONEY MORE THAN OXYGEN—WOULD “COLLAB” WITH A BROKE NOBODY???

But here’s what made me soft for half a second: turns out way more people on VK / Pinterest / Tumblr didn’t buy the nonsense and weren’t swayed by the rumor mill. That genuinely moved me. IF I’M ANYONE'S FAN, IT'S YOU GUYS—WARM LITTLE ANGELS. 😇

So—because I’m feeling mildly sentimental—I’m dropping the Hardley Fraser Raoul I drew back in 2023. Consider this my “thank you” to the ppl who kept their brains switched on, phamily.

And to everyone in the phandom right now: please don’t be so financially and morally bankrupt that you’d steal less than 100 dollars and lie about it. Aim higher. Be rich like Elon Musk or something.

Now, I usually don’t post things like this, but receiving a blackmail from one very well known Korean artist *coughphanwolfcough* on the evening of January 1st is kinda… unpleasant. So I want you all to see that this person is acting very strange.

Almost a year ago, we had an argue. Phanwolf made a lot of fantastic, very beautiful fan art for Phantom Letters, but when he/she figured out there’s slash elements in our story, he/she first demanded to change the plot for her/his sake. It sounded like “I won’t read something like this, please change the plot, change the pairing etc and I’ll continue reading”. I assured Phanwolf that Phantom Letters only has bromance, and that her favourite pairing WILL appear at some point, but he/she refused to wait or cope with the idea of bisexual characters.

After this, he/she suddenly said that as we dissapointed her/his expectations of the novel, we must pay for all the art that was already made. Also phanwolf blackmailed my coauthor, saying she must leave her profession to gain an apology. Finally, we deleted all arts by Phanwolf from our Phantom Letters groups, and there was a long silence. Phanwolf also promised not to bring this topic back ever again. Well, guess the promise is broken.
