(extremely late) Day 3- My day in great detail
Since I can't remember what my day was like when I was supposed to post day 3, I'm going to give you my day for today. This will be an extremely long post
5:40 am - First alarm wakes me up, I hit snooze and go back to sleep
5:50 am - Second alarm, hit snooze, more sleep
6:00 am - Third alarm, to tired to hit snooze, wait until alarm shuts off on its own
6:20 am - Fourth alarm, I will myself to sleep through it, though I know it's not going to be that great
6:30 am - "Emergency- you woke up late" alarm goes off. I resign myself to the fact that I actually have to get up today.
6:35 am- Actually get out of bed
6:40 am- Dressed and get ready. Which really consists of washing my face, deodorant, perfume and quickly running a brush through my hair to try and tame it before giving up because it's too frizzy.
6:50 am- Scarf down breakfast while checking facebook to make sure nobody else is getting engaged
7:00 am- Running round the house to try and get my stuff in my backpack.
7:05-7:19 am - Travel to the train station
7:19-7:25 am - waiting for the train, freezing cold, trying to beat the darn hat piece on my Monopoly game app
7:25 am - Train arrives, I board and try to find a spot that isn't next to some creepy guy
7:28 am - Find an empty spot across from a guy on his laptop who looks annoyed that I dare take up one of the three empty spots in his immediate area
7:30 am - Top Hat kills me, I swear vengeance and the Scotty dog piece and I begin our revenge.
7:40 am- Slaughter the opponent! Victory to the Scotty Dog! How I beat him while he had Boardwalk and all of the dark green properties, I will never know.
7:41 am- Bored. Try to get onto the train Internet to try and watch a YouTube video for entertainment. Spend the rest of the train ride trying to get it to load.
8:05 am- Arrive in the big city, wait for the express bus to the university
8:15 am - bus arrives THANK GOODNESS THEY FINALLY GOT A GREYHOUND-SIZE BUS FOR US!!! I WILL HAVE A SEAT TODAY!!!
8:16 am- settle down into a comfy window seat with nobody sitting next to me and listen to Julian Lloyd Weber and Sarah Chang's Phantasia suite- Beautiful!
8: 32 am- Leave the comfy bus and hike up the hill to get to my classroom. Ponder the meaning of the "Bad Wolf" graffiti on the campus directory sign. Gasp for oxygen because the air is much thinner up here than it is at home.
8:45 am - Enter the dance building, avoid eye contact with the skinny ballet students who are clearly judging me and curse my professor who decided to put a literature class in the Ballet building where it clearly doesn't belong.
8:47 am- attempt to enter the classroom only to have the doorknob not turn
8:48 am - engage in epic battle against the stuck doorknob
8:50 am - Victory!
8:51 am - settle into my favorite seat in the room, set up my laptop and talk to my friend until class starts.
8:52 am - Laugh at everyone else trying to enter the room, but is stopped by Sir Cadagon the Doorknob
9:10 am- Fairy Tales class begins! Trust me, it's not as easy as it sounds. Today's topic: Once Upon a Time as an adaptation. Spend the first half-hour listening to the teacher discuss Zipes (gag!) and his apparent hatred of one of my favorite fandoms. Spend an hour trying to explain the plot to my friend who has not seen the show, using the royal family tree as a visual "aid." Spend the last half- hour arguing that Once is an acceptable adaptation to the Professor with the aid of my fellow classmates.
10:30 am - Class dismissed. Head straight from class to the library.
10:32 am - Run into a close friend from high school, ask if she's coming to the get-together after semester's end (she is!) and then continue my journey to the sanctuary of the library.
10:35 am - Wait in life for the library's cafe to purchase lunch. Today's lunch will consist of Key Lime Greek yogurt and a chocolate croissant. Decide that Greek Mythology class will be skipped today and decide to take a nap to catch up on the sleep I missed last night due to having to re-write a final essay.
10:40 am - Pay the people at the counter and bolt (as fast as one can appropriately do so in a library) to the juvenile collection, which is almost always completely vacant.
10:45 am - set up camp in my favorite comfy chair next to the window which gives a lovely view of the cement and steel make-up of another wall of the library, landscaped by bushes that have not yet realized that it is April and they should be blooming by now.
10:50 am - Lunch! Yum!
10:55 am - Browse the internet while eating
11:45 am - The realization that I have not been on Tumbler since Saturday hits, and panic because I am behind on my 30-day challenge and start writing.
12:28 pm - Post this blog entry.
~Rose
12:39 pm- Edit this blog entry because of horrendous spelling errors.

30-day Challenge: Day 1- Some basic things about myself
Firstly, no, my name is not Rose. It's an online alias that I've used for years simply because I don't like my real name floating around on the internet. I hope you don't mind- but I'd like to protect my privacy.
As stated on the "about this Blog" I am a writer. I have written several short stories, none of which have been published, but one has gotten me an award. I am also in the middle of writing a novel which I hope will be finished by NaNoWriMo in November. The novel I am hoping to publish, granted that I actually get it done.
Lastly, I am a complete geek. I love my fandoms with all my heart (or hearts for the Doctor Who fandom) and I would love to talk about anything to do with them. Reichenbach theories? Love to hear 'em! Pottermore house; Slytherin pride! Phan? I can talk your ear off! I have so many fandoms that I love that I can't list (because as soon as I do, I will think of another), so if you're interested in discussing stuff, leave something in the ask box and I'll get to it as soon as possible.
Until tomorrow,
~Rose
Hi!
Hello, Tumblr.
So I really don't know what pushed me into getting a Tumblr, but I think it has something to do with wanting to keep a record of all my favorite fandom gifs.
With that being said, I actually do want to use this as something of a blog. Not knowing where to start and needing to learn to actually keep up with a blog, I've decided to start with a 30-day challenge to just get started posting.
The one I picked is this lovely one made by katxx here on Tumblr. Sorry about reposting instead of reblogging, I will do better next time.
Thanks for coming to look at my tumblr, hope you enjoy.
~Rose
