For once, it wasn’t a video game ending that had him making the lame excuse that he had to use the bathroom so he could cry without his friend noticing. Problem was, he’d forgotten to lock the door, so even yelling “Go away!” wasn’t really helpful when Akira came to ask what was wrong.

When Naruto saw the heaping mess of a man on the ground while a small group rushed away from him, he couldn’t help but cross the street to meander over and check on the victim. The guy seemed to be moving, so not unconscious. Naruto came to a stop nearby as the guy was picking up his glasses.

Naruto could sense that the state of his body was not good by the way he tried to lift himself up. Naruto looked up again and down the street, wondering if he should just pursue the assholes who would do such a thing, but that was a long shot anyway. It was probably better to just help the injured man in front of him.

My muse has just woken up from a particularly vivid and terrifying nightmare.

Dreams were ridiculous. They could be about the most tame thing ever, and yet could still wake you in a cold sweat.

This wasn’t the case this particular night. No, this dream’s subject matter was completely horrifying and had him waking up screaming. It took him a moment to wake up, even after Akira’s voice had reached his ears and his arms had wound around him.
