When the Resource Wars erupted in 2050s, MSF was one of the many Private Military Contractors who were around to fight for the several nations fighting for survival. However, when the Corporations began pushing their power over the governments of the world, the MSF’s directive changed from fighting other nations to fighting the Corps.
Working along side the Pan-Euro Infosec Agency, the MSF fought countless battles with several of the Corporations, from K&O in Germany, Sankaku in the Philippines, PlasTech in Liberia, and FTM in Mexico. Though winning at first, the countless advancements that the Corps were deploying on the field outstripped the veteran soldiers of the MSF. A co-operative effort between the Four MegaCorps on MSF’s base of operations crippled the PMC and left it easy pickings for the Corps.
With many of MSF’s assets absorbed by the Corps, one person who was unaccounted for after the attack was the head of MSF, known as Big Boss. It was said he was able to escape the attack with the aid of PEIA, and now works with Invisible to one day bring the Corps down.
