Okay I will present this concept: What if after that final Phantom Paz scene, Venom showed up with a V shaped scar on his belly, just like hers.
I was so fucking sure that's where the phantom!Paz subplot was going that I was actually surprised when he left that room unevicerated. All that talk from hallucination?Ocelot about dissociative amnesia and alternative personalities coupled with the meaningful look he gives V after he says "The medic has no idea how it happened. He figures it must have been self-inflicted." BRUH. itβs my favorite headcanon.
