I'm so interested whos child is Natalie? Like you wrote that they knew about her before she was born so she isn't fostered, is she? I'm intrigued by the backstory here
so I will be posting some bonus content about this in a few weeks probably (a one shot specifically about Natalie and her coming into the family) but! short answer is that they adopted her through an agency that matched them with an expecting mother who was planning to put her child up for adoption, so dnp got to be a part of the process through updates about the pregnancy and stuff and got to take her home after she was born! so they did not have a surrogate or anything but she is dnp's child!

god i am so sorry i'm just now seeing this!! the longer bonus fic is not finished yet because in true unhinged fashion, i had another cute idea to add to it and now i'm having to re-write a little bit to fit the new idea in! also between work and interviews and everything else, i've just not had a lot of time to sit down and write the story the way it deserves to be written, but I promise i haven't forgotten about it!!

hi! I'm going to try to post it tomorrow but I realized that I need to post a different bonus fic first to try and keep the chronology of the post-iydlmp/pre-epilogue scenes. so that (much shorter one) will be coming tonight! and the long boi will be (hopefully) sometime tomorrow!
