Solar power tenders set strict no-consortium rule in Rajasthan
Solar power tenders for RVUNL’s 2000 MW solar park at Bodana have introduced a strict qualification filter through a no-consortium structure. The Chief Engineer Civil has invited bids for design, engineering, supply and construction of all civil and miscellaneous works for infrastructure development at the Phalodi district site. Solar power tenders in this case are focused on enabling infrastructure rather than PV modules or generation equipment. The scope includes land levelling, internal roads, road lighting, fencing, gates, water intake, reservoir, water distribution, drainage and green belts. EnergylineIndia.com highlights this update for readers tracking Renewable energy tenders and BOS Package contract opportunities. The estimated cost is Rs 127 crore including GST, with EMD of Rs 2.54 crore, tender fee of Rs 1 lakh plus 18% GST and bid validity of 180 days. Solar power tenders under this package require completion in 18 months, which is tight for large-area civil works in an arid Bap and Phalodi location. The qualification threshold requires a direct similar-works record, while JV and sub-let experience will not be considered. Solar power tenders therefore favour established single-entity contractors. Solar power tenders from RVUNL will be watched for water logistics, bidder depth and civil-interface risks.
