2016 BG Shower Curtain Recolours

This is not a new upload. god they're actually so so old.

These are shower curtains I made when I was but a wee child (this is a joke. sort of. They're at least 10 years old.) I am almost 100% sure that they were only available on GOS, though I might be wrong (maybe they were available on my old tumblr before it got nuked? I don't know.) and they're likely one of the most downloaded things I have on sfs.

So reasonably, I'm uploading them here now. I have a few other things I think are even fucking older than these that were only posted there, but I genuinely don't think anyone needs or wants them? (they are... dated. like "made them when I was 16" dated. like, "visual kei band makeup and portal wall drawings" dated.) But I suppose I could theoretically upload them here too in the coming week or so. xP

Anyway, it's just a set of base game shower curtain recolours. shown in the preview on the vanilla shower, as well as the backless version from MTS.

2009 - 2013 OLD CC REUPLOAD

Last one, I think, at least for now. I probably have some really old sims and lots somewhere around here, but as for CC I believe this is literally everything I still have from back then.

Most of the makeup is not mine, and the stuff that is... isn't that good. The makeup was mainly created by FadexAway423, who isn't a part of the community anymore. (the lips on the preview image above, for example.) I did some old visual kei makeup, but it's not... anything amazing. the lip blend is pretty solid though. I actually still have the darker colours in my game even now.

Like the rest, all I've done here is clean up files and made new swatches for this post. (IE: make sure they're tooltipped, binned appropriately, ages removed, compressed, etc.) For the makeup, I also made it all available for both genders anywhere it wasn't previously.

Peggy C30 (fhair) and C34 (mhair) in Sunshine

Usually I don't post specific theme or holiday content, simply because I don't have time to work on a deadline. In this case, I decided to make this last minute with no warning for myself, so I guess I'm posting Pride content on the literal last day of June. x_x;

In any case, I made six lgbtq themed hair colours of this Peggy hair from... 2008? I think. Surprisingly still pretty viable a mesh for being so old, though I believe the hair strands are not animated, and there's a teeny tiny transparency where the part meets (You can see it on Ashe above) so this does look better with a scalp overlay. But it's not too bad.

Anyway, I scaled up the texture to 1024, so I had to redraw a good portion of the alpha so it wouldn't be so blurry. Also, this was absolutely, with zero doubt at all, inspired by this old GOS hair by Magnus, and I will not claim otherwise.

This is, of course, also available in the binned sunshine naturals, because I did all this work why would I not?

The reuploading continues.

Like the others I make absolutely zero guarantees that this is of any quality, as it was all made when my, my sister, and my bff were 13-15 in 2009-2013. All I've done here is clean up files and made new swatches for this post. (IE: make sure they're tooltipped, binned appropriately, ages removed, compressed, etc.)

Also most of my preview pictures were gone, but the one I chose for the picture above was particularly GOS themed in it's 2010 edginess so I couldn't help myself. Also I miss that sim. I only ever used him for previews and he's probably gone forever. I don't think he's buried anywhere on my computer.

This set is all the natural hairs. I have no idea what hair system I was trying to use. It doesn't seem to match any that I know of. It might have been a blend of my own creation. some of these hairs don't have elder greys, most of them only have one black colour but two of everything else (like simgaroop's system). The unnatural colours (will be posted in part 4) will likely be more interesting to everyone, but I'm just posting everything. 🤷‍♂️

It was sort of interesting to dig this stuff up and find that I was trying really hard to find a desaturated colour palette for hair even back then, only to land on sunshine system in the present day. I guess I knew what I want but didn't know how to make it lol.

I've taken new swatch photos (in bodyshop) and cleaned up some files (ie: added tooltips, deleted empty textures, that sort of thing, no actual editing.)

this 4t2 shoerack was originally converted by @neosimi (here) but I wanted them in pirate woods, plus a few colors of my own.

includes the 5 pirate woods, and an extra 4 colours on top of that (still with the pirate textures.) (these include mahogany, oak, cherry, and a black)

the mesh from Neosimi has 6 slots (and three on the closed version), the closed version is repo'd to the open, and the polycount is extremely low, at only 166p.

Textures are available in both 512x for people who are concerned about pink soup and performance, and in 1024x for people who want a bit higher resolution. Choose only one, as they are the same files with replaced textures. Preview pictures are taken in the 1024x, but you can see a comparison under the cut below:

I finally got on my bullshit and made preview pictures for some of the hairs I've retextured and have been hoarding... so this is the first of at least a couple. 😌

Anyway, it's what it says on the tin. A S-Club hair, sunshined.

I should note that this hair mesh has some transparencies (likely from it being only 10k which is pretty impressive for a conversion nowadays) so it looked better with a scalp overlay. Nathan is wearing one in the above screenshot, for full disclosure. Swatch under the cut does not, but it's harder to see there.

Hezeh 58 - both versions

I don't know why I thought there was an A in the name when I made the splash card, but 🤷‍♂️oh well.

Roman is wearing V2--the one with the ponytail--in brown, and Ashe is wearing V1 in red. These both use the same mesh, as one is an alpha edit. swatch under the readmore for a better view.
