This one has residual sugars which makes it too early to open now maybe (it's all a question of taste with the sugar) because yes Pinot Gris is a wine to keep. On the nose the wine has floral notes, exotic fruit and spice. In the mouth it is rich and complex, you can smell the residual sugars which should diminish over time. There is a nice length with hints of vanilla. An experience to continue with elaborate meals. Pinot Gris or Pinot Grigio are the same Burgundy grape, to explain the difference in style I would say that Pinot Gris is a Harley Davidson and Pinot Grigio is a Hayley Davidson with a crankset. 🍇 🍇 Un Pinot Gris d'Alsace est un vin à goûter. Celui-ci a des sucres résiduels qui fait qu'il était peut trop tôt pour l'ouvrir (tout est question de goût avec le sucre) car oui le Pinot Gris est un vin de garde. Au nez le vin a des notes florales, de fruits exotiques et d'épice. En bouche c'est riche et complexe, on sent les sucres résiduels qui devraient s'atténuer avec le temps. Il y a une belle longueur sur des notes de vanille. Une expérience à poursuivre sur des repas élaborés.
