Whatās the point of a Legendary Familiar?
Iāve started to wondering that question because of the Event Illustration Pieces.Ā
Note: When I say Legendary Familiars I thinking about the Event-Legendary pets (which can be caught by bait during Halloween or Christmas event or āwinā at the end of Valentine/Easter/Music Day events.
1. What is different with Legendary Familiar?
-itās food cost 30 mana in the shop- the highest!
I spend more than half of my daily mana (50) (not counting the amount which can be won with the mini games) on itās food hoping to get something in exchange, and I get: more energy, better luck factor, more needed days to evolve, higher needed affinity level.
2. So in theory a Legendary pet has
- more energy-> more option to explore places-> higher chance to findĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā something
- higher luck it means higher chance to find higher rated stuff with less tryĀ
3. On the other side a legendary pet
- need more days to evolve usually 30-40, it means more food: max 30*40=1.200 mana (a third part of an episode)
-need higher affection level- Ā an āOKā condition ācause it related with the number of active day
Note: Every pet starts with 20% affection and got 2% on every day (if you feed it of course) (During exploration every pet can gain various amount of affection points in certain places- but itās not constans so I didnāt calculate in that)
Example1: Melomantha- Legendary (Music Event 2017), need 40 active days and 85% affection level.Ā
So we have to reach:85-20= 65% -> 65/2=32.5-> our pet reaches 85% affection level after 33 days -> but no matter ācause our little Melomantha has to be 40 days old- this condition counts only if you have a lower rated pet (common, rare, epic) which need high affection level and less active days.Ā
An other example: Crylasm-Common, need 20 active days and 90% affection level
The formula: 90-20= 70%-> 70/2=35 -> a Crylasm needs 35 days to reach 90% affection level, more than 20 days-> more food needed->higher cost.
5. In short: with a legendary familiar for higher cost āyou get better stats
But why I cannot feel this āadvantageā on the illustration piecesā dropping rate? I have baby Melomantha (see the example) and heās found only 3 pieces in 9 days with 330 luck and 110 energy!!Ā
6. Ok back to Story Time. During the Valentine Event 2018 my adult Hydracays (legendary, luck: 351/375, 140 energy struggled with the illu. pieces, found only 4 in a week, then I changed for a baby Xylvra (epic, luck: 223/225, 110 energy) and found the rest 4 with no problem. Same thing during the Easter Event 2018 except Ā she evolved ( luck 240/245, 120 energy) So Xlyvra did better with a 100 luck point less, than a Hydracarys.
I donāt understand. If anyone does pls explain to me.
6+1.Oh, the absolute exception: Meeper: Easter Event 2018, food: Cocoa Cirses-30 mana, energy: b:90-a:120, affection: 65%, days: 25, luck: b:85-115-a:105-135- for 30*25=750 mana I got a common stat pet? Good joke
PS1: If Anyone interested in the relation between affection level & the number active days I have a chart for it, included 28 pets
PS 2:Sorry for any mistake or misspellĀ feel free to correct me.
