Simon Darlovksy says to me “Jack I’ve been looking for you for two days!  Where you been?  What you doin? Dyav any dreams lately? Anything great? Dany girls loosen your belt? Jack!  Look at me! Jack!” He makes me look at him, his intense wild face with that soft hawk nose and his blond hair crew cut now (before a wild shock)  and his thick serious lips (like Irwin’s) but tall and lean and really only just outa high school -- “I’ve got a million things to tell you! All about love!  I’ve discovered the secret of beauty! It’s love! Peter Orlovsky (b. 1933) visiting his family -- Lafcadio age 47 had lived with us in San Francisco & N.Y. from 1955-61 & later intermittent years; mother Kate Orlovsky age 78 totally deaf after botched mastoid operation circa 1930's in N.Y. Eye & Ear Hospital; Laff's twin sister Marie who'd stayed with me & Peter in Lower East Side 1959 while she attended baby-nurse school in Jersey, but quit jobs soon after, angry hearing voices' "filthy gossip" behind her back.
