OK, I don't know if anyone here is into monster trucks, but being that my username is derived from one, and being that I've been into them since I was really young, I figured it only made sense to post something about them. This is a real old-school monster called "King of the Road", one of the biggest and baddest ever built. Originally created by Don Buchholtz of Wyoming, Iowa from a 1986 Peterbilt 359, it's powered by a CAT 3406 diesel engine, hooked up to a 10-speed manual transmission. Drive gear consists of a 2 1/2-ton transfer case running to three 5-ton FWD axles, plus six 66" tall Terra Tires. Altogether, it weighs 23,000 pounds.
