“James Ostend “Pete” Brown (November 9, 1906, Baltimore, Maryland – September 20, 1963, New York City, New York) was an American jazz alto saxophonist and bandleader.

Album Number Two Hundred Eighty One “Wheels of Fire” is the third album by the British rock band Cream. It was released in the US in June 1968 as a two-disc vinyl LP, with one disc recorded in the studio and the other recorded live. It was released in the UK on August 9. It reached number three in the United Kingdom and number one in the United States, Canada and Australia, becoming the world's first platinum-selling double album. My copy is a gatefold on #atcorecords - SD 2-700 (the Gold Record Award is actually stuck on the album cover) The band's drummer #GingerBaker co-wrote three songs for the album with pianist #miketaylor. Bassist #jackbruce co-wrote four songs with poet #petebrown. Guitarist #ericclapton contributed to the album by choosing two blues songs to cover.
