                   “ Yo kid --- why are you runnin’ around with a uh ... ” Dice blanked upon looking at it. He knew he knew it !! He always saw those around halloween and stuff but the word just WOULDN’T come ! Whatever --- he knew the other, “ Sickle ! ” It wasn’t what he wanted but it would work for now. Right now he had a more pressing question to ask, 

the new city is odd, to say the least. he takes a bite of the tobelerone, wandering the streets -- it’d been an interesting 24 hours, what with his weapon gone and --

it’d been a while. ozpin is still dead and gone in his mind -- he’d felt him rouse at the announcements, the new setting, but he’d disappeared rather quickly, when oscar’d reached out, almost got out a sentence to ask him to stay. ozpin’d disappeared before he’d even gotten out a syllable.

and while he was rather used to having deathly silence in his mind, it was the first time someone’s chatter hadn’t filled the silence around him, for better or worse. he’s not sure if it’s better now, since this was one way to escape the ace ops team, at least, but if everyone else was still stuck with them...

-- well, he’d worried too much, it seemed.

he’d recognize those clothes anywhere. relief is so evident in his voice and being that he’s surprised that he doesn’t trip over himself trying to get to the black haired girl -- then he uh, stops. did he have the right person? backing away a little--

Netzach is not unfamiliar with warehouses. This particular place though, is something unusual. Most of the times, the things being housed at Lobotomy were EGO, weapon and armor placed in individual cases behind one door, another, the necessary tools to deal with one of the many possible biological accidents in facility. There were many more, of course, but none that dealt with furniture like this. 

Frankly, Netzach thinks it’s the best thing in the world. So much so, that they’re damn near determined to get their hands on some as soon as possible. After all, having the mere option to do something meant that Netzach was going to do so to their fullest possibility. 

“Hey,” they try to get someone’s attention, almost conspiratorial. “You look like you know what’s at least kind of cool.”

┫ Having located a few paper slips within the pockets of his robes, Wei figured that he would make use of them. Although perhaps he should save them for a much more important occasion. Yet such a thought was thrown to the wind as he had a theory to test out. Plus how fun would experiments be if a little adventure and mischief wasn’t added into the mix? After all, this location did seem to have its lack of burial sites. So testing out this power at the moment seemed more probable than having a party with a few corpses. 

┫ Soon the human shaped paper slip within his palm seemed to take on a life of it’s own, comically stretching its paper limbs. Before jumping onto the path a little way’s in front him and taking to running in circles. The young man couldn’t help but smile content that he was still able to hold on to such a talent.  Except such happiness didn’t last long before a foot came crashing down on his parade. 

          you, they think to themself as she approaches, swallowing trauma - wrought anxiety into the depths of their throat ( and it hurts — it feels like a rock going down ).  once ruby is close enough to hear, they speak up.  “ it would seem i can’t escape you, little rose, ” former maiden announces, voice oozing both charm and irritation.  their golden eye narrows.  “ how curious it is that we’ve arrived in the same predicament. ”

▬ The comment earns attention from the priest, even if it is just a brief glance in her direction that lingers a little longer. It is in no way sexual, in fact there is no expression on his face that reads as anything but apathetic as he regards her. It was a simple sentiment, but individuals as a whole were stupid and rarely learned the lessons of their mistakes.

“Uhm,” There’s a pause as breaks off mid-chittered conversation, looks between stranger and her current feathered companion of choice pensively. Slight tilt of her head reiterates her uncertainty as Ahiru observes for a moment. A cape? It looks comfy and fun and good for— right, focus on the conversation at hand.

“ i didn’t think anyone else would be out here. ” a pause, ear flicking out of nervous habit.

“ do you... mind if i sit with you? ”
